An Answered Prayer.

Topic: An Answered Prayer.

There are many perceptions about prayer. Some believe God answers prayer others don’t but to my surprise, they pray. But the question is; how can you stay up late, pray for many hours, leave your home to a place or even the church and pray yet, you don’t believe God answers prayer? This is a waste of time and many waste their time. The first key to answered prayer is to believe that God answers prayer. You must pray with the word of God. Pray and do what the Bible says and you shall possess your world.

Secondly, you must have no alternative to prayer. When it is prayer time, you commit your all without any alternative. When Elijah just as a man like you and me prayed for rain, he had no alternative. He prayed not once nor twice but prayed till rain came. When Hannah prayed for a child, she had no alternative but prayed till Isaac came. Do you have any alternative to prayer?

Again for answered prayers righteousness is a key. Iniquities separates us from God and sin blocks His face from us if we sin. Unforgiveness can keep God away from you no matter how you cry and shout, God will not answer you. Many cannot forgive even pastors, if you wrong them, they will make sure they push you out anytime they see a glory coming your way. Bitterness is also another key that can stop your prayers from reaching heaven. Are you bitter, take care of it and God will take care of you.

Finally, know who you are in the Lord. Beloved, God doesn’t answer children who are not His. He doesn’t steal people’s children. He answers His own. Until you are born again, God cannot answer you. New birth opens the path for answered prayers. Beloved if you have not given your life to Christ, today is the day, surrender unto God and all things will surrender unto you.up and take your bed, stop complaining because your father is not dead He is alive to favor you today.

Very Grateful?

God is Love and love is God. When you experience love, you have experienced God. Humans and angels can never tell us the extent of His love. It is higher than our imaginations, lower that no one can get the understanding, wider that you can never go round it. Looking at the fact that the sufferings that were meant for us, He took them upon Himself on the cross. He has taken our heavy load so we may have a lighter load; what a loving God.

Great men are always grateful. Gratefulness attracts greatness. David was a great king no doubt, but he was always grateful to God. If it had not been God, the family background of David would have disqualified him, even to kill Goliath, his skills were able to kill bear and lions. It was not his anointing because even anointed as a king he was denied the throne, he was a runaway king. God favored David and colorfully designed his destiny. Today if you will be grateful unto God, He will colorfully design your destiny.

Joseph was not popular among his brethren and family, they buried him but God brought him out. God didn’t only bring him out of the pit and prison but He made him the second in command Egypt. Thank God always, just as in our main text. Today, you shall be the first no matter the prevailing obstacles. Just be grateful unto God and men so that God can use men to carry you on high. Be blessed.

Father, I praise and worship you for another time of "Early with God".
Father, I ask for mercy in any area I was not grateful, please forgive me.

Nothing Works?

Many are very frustrated these days. They have tried it all but nothing works. Some have been in relationships, friendships, organizations but the end is bitterness. They sacrificed their all to make it work but their tireless efforts are in the drain. Some have been cheated and others forsaken but today if you are in that position, I have some good news for you that, those frustrations must come so that you will have a different story of divine redemption.

There was a man at the pool of Bethesda who tried to be healed in John 5, but frustration kept him waiting for 38 years. There were many who were blind, lame, paralyzed, and was waiting for the moving of the water. This man had an infirmity thirty-eight years. But when Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?

All of them were waiting for the moving of the water, they had one goal, to be healed but only one person gets healed at a time. Beloved, maybe you have passed through the normal process but nothing is working and now you are frustrated and depressed but Jesus is asking you, “Do you want to be made well?

This man’s answer was a complain. He said that people have been taking ahead of him for many years but Jesus told him “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” Complains cannot solve your issues. Many blame others for their own misfortunes but refuse that. You have been sleeping whiles others watch. So today stop sleeping, rise up and take your bed, stop complaining because your father is not dead He is alive to favor you today.

Many people talk. In fact, people will never leave you alone until they have said something whether negative or positive about you. They will accuse you of things you have not done and will pursue total judgment on you. Some have left their wrongs and evil ways only to talk about yours. Some are in serious and an unforgiven affair but they will leave theirs to talk about yours, also they may be in bad marriages with vagabond children but they will say your children are the worse.

Beloved, no matter what you do here on earth, people will cast stones. The sad thing is that many at times, they are wrong. When you encounter God, you automatically encounter His power that will deliver you from death to life. So no matter what people say you can overcome. Remember words are power, they can damage you or build you. But most times, people cast words on us only to damage us.

Envy is the root cause for people to cast stones. Looking at the bible verse for today. We realized that the people didn’t like the woman. They caught only her but left the man who was involved. It takes two to commit adultery. Secondly, they wanted to tempt the ministry of Jesus. They knew what to do since the law of Moses says so, but they wanted to involve Jesus in their murder. People talk only to involve you in evil plots against your leaders, parents and even yourself. Be careful of what people say.

“Enough is Enough 2016" is coming off this summer. It is a 5-hour prayer, the word, praise and worship, deliverance program, aimed to cry unto God for the impossible. Please pray about it. Many people don’t plan. Many Christians don’t plan. They live whatever the day brings that is why many are poor. Many misuse their time and doesn’t come to church early enough. Because they don’t plan, they don’t receive and so church going is just the same old same. Go empty come empty but according to Benjamin Franklin, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. We are too busy but busy for nothing. Some even don’t have time for their marriage and family; busy and busy. But do you know the reason why you are busy? It is because of lack of planning so things just drop on you. Begin to plan and you will know how to stop certain life pressures from dropping on you.

Plan to include various activities in your daily calendar and plan to execute your goals for the day, week, month and the year. I believe the reason why I am able to achieve most of the things I do including writing everyday books and devotions, working full-time one and half jobs, working in the church and out, as a student, a father and a husband is the fact that I plan. No matter how busy I am, I still find time to rest and complete most of my life schedules. Begin to plan and you will also accomplish a lot.

The heart of a man plans his ways, but the Lord establish his steps. What our memory verse is telling us is that, if you plan your ways, God will order your steps as to how you can achieve your ways or goals in this life. Without your ways, God cannot direct your steps. Planning is the ingredient of a great success. It is tablet of sincere devotion and discipline. I pray that God will grant you all the wisdom to plan your future out.

Are you Stressed up?

Stress is at its record high. The population in the United States is around 200 million and 84 million are retired. That leaves 116 million to do the work. There are also 75 million people in school, which leaves 41 million to do the work. About this total, there are 22 million employed by the federal government which leaves 19 million to do the work. Also 4 million are in the armed forces, which leaves 15 million to do the work. Take from that total the 14.8 million who work for state and city governments and that leaves 200,000 to do the work. There are 188,000 people in the hospital at any given time, leaving 12,000 to do the work. Currently, there are 11,998 people in jail. That leaves just two people to do the work.

This will create a personal and national stress. Whiles you strive to make ends meet, there is a national stress to keep the economy working. Apostle Paul to the Philippians, be not anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. In Matthew 6:25-34, our Lord and savior Jesus told us not worry about what to eat and wear because life is more important than these. It is sad to see that some people abandon their life only for food and what to wear.

Our life is a treasure, don’t allow the world to pressure it, and don’t allow personal fears to intimidate you. When you face a Goliath, refuse to fear that Goliath must come down in Jesus name. Develop your mind that with Christ all shall be well. Stress affects your mindset but with prayer and supplication, make all your request be made known unto God.

The New Beginning.

Topic: The New Beginning.

The Lord says He knows the plans He has for you, these are plans for welfare, peace and not for evil. A plan to give you and I a future and a hope. I want you to understand today that God our creator has a plan and in this plan, He has your name in it. He has your future in it, He has your blessings in it and so you are not alone, you have your maker on your side so don’t worry, this is the time for a new beginning.

Behold the Lord is about to make things new. According to Revelation 21, John saw a new Heaven and a New Earth, why? God makes things new. Today is another day of new beginning, “then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” John saw the beauty of the new earth, there was no sorrow but peace. What happens when there is a new beginning?

The presence of God is deeper. According to Revelation 21, the tabernacle of God comes and dwell with men and He dwells with them. When God is with you all things are possible. So when you experience a new beginning, all your impossibilities are turned into possibilities. When someone experience a new beginning, there is comfort. The bible says comfort ye my people. God releases out the grace to be comforted when your new beginning comes and God Himself wipes away every tear from your eyes, this is comfort.

When there is a new beginning, there is life. In Him is life and this life is the light of men. Our verse says, there shall be no more death nor sorrow, nor crying. That means you are far away from defeat, shame and reproach. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. As you experience this new month, I pray for a new beginning over your life, your ministry, your family and all that is connected to you.
