Word For Thought: Satan plans and plant the seed of evil in men.

There are men who are very evil. They eat evil, dress evil, think evil, act evil, behave evil, and so oppress the saints of God. They are chosen by their father, Satan, to oppress and suppress the saints. Whether you are poor or rich, they attack, they never relent until they see someone fall. They plan mischief, deceive the elect,and they fast and wait for their evil plans to materialize.  Today, my dear, you shall not fall in the hands of any evil man in Jesus name.

Why evil men? Evil men are troublemakers, they oppose the peace and comfortability of God’s children and prophets. Haman was an evil man, he planned to destroy a whole nation, also in Jeremiah 38, Prophet Jeremiah was cast into a dungeon filled with mire by evil men, Jezebel was and evil woman, so as her sister Delilah, did very terrible harm against man and God.

Apostle Paul encountered many evil men in his ministry, they became a thorn in his flesh, he prayed and prayed, but the grace of God was sufficient, from levels to levels. That same grace is coming to you in Jesus name.  Apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:14, “Alexander the Coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works”. This man was a great opposition to the Gospel.

Many kings did evil against the early church, some were beheaded by kings and those who were in authority, some were crucified, some allowed tigers and lions to eat them alive, and this was very barbaric. Some were fried like chicken in the oil, some were pierced on the side to die in their blood, some were stoned just in the hands of evil men.

May be an evil man is on your head right now. This man or woman is trying to steal your joy and your peace. This person always plan evil and mischief, this person wants to break your marriage and relationship, this person is a thorn in your flesh and ministry, all you need to do, is to pray and hand them over to God. He will choose what and how He will deal with them. The battle belongs to God. Be blessed, have a blessfull weekend.

The Same Jesus

Topic: The Same Jesus

Memory Verse:  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Word For Thought: Jesus is the solution to every man's predicament.

The same Jesus who spoke to Peter to cast out his net, is still alive today. The same Jesus is still healing and restoring people’s health. The woman with the issue of blood just touched the hem of His garment and that twelve year battle ended. Everywhere Jesus went, people believed, the crippled walked, blind men saw, deaf and dumb began to hear and speak, the dead Lazarus upon hearing His voice got up from the dead. Many received a tremendous amount of blessings.

This same Jesus is still alive today. His miraculous power is still in force. He is the answer to every form of darkness over your health, job and family. He is still merciful and compassionate , and when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. Any sickness that came to Jesus did not go back, they were all healed.

Today, maybe you have been dealing with an issue in your life too hard to bear, you have spent all your time, money and other resources, things are not getting better, please cast them upon Him, Jesus is the answer to every man’s problem. No matter the question, Jesus is ever ready to help you out.

The disciples faced a stormy wind, their ship was sinking but it appeared that Jesus did not care but was sleeping. But when they woke Him up, the storm seized. Until you wake Jesus, He may think you are ok to battle these issues, but the battle is the Lord’s. You need to pray and fast to overcome any battle you are confronting right now.

May be men has rejected you, you have lost your job, money is a problem, you have lost your balance, nothing is working, you have lost a relationship, friends and loved ones, suicide is really not an option here. Your only option is Jesus, Jesus is still healing and saving people. He took all and every problem to the cross. His stripes are meant to heal you, if only you will apply faith, your destiny will take shape. May God bless you.

Dead Men Walking

Topic: Dead Men Walking

Word For Thought: We are dead men walking by the breathe of grace.

I will start by saying, life is precious, and it is a gift from God, it takes a careless man to play with it. Many are dead through carelessness. The word of God is preached day and night yet we are still living in sin, how long are we going to surrender? The life we live is just a breathe, as soon as that breathe goes away, we are just dead men walking.

A woman came to my hospital, she was ok; just came in for blood pressure management, she was talking and eating, she was just waiting for a bed in the inpatient unit. As soon as she got her bed, she coded few minutes later, her blood pressure went up, she lost her breathe and died instantly. I made rounds another time, as I reached the 6^th bed, I met a nice Spanish man, we spoke and we shared some laughs, he had such a great humor, very pleasant patient, as I reached the 14^th bed, he also coded, lost his breathe and died in the process. I have seen more terrible cases, accidents and gun shots wounds; I have seen many cries, sorrows and agonies by families and loved ones. Life is too precious to care less about it.

Apostle Paul said; for him to live is Christ (Philippians 1:21). Indeed that is true, we live by the breathe of God each day. We are just dust and clay, polished by the grace of God, alive by His breathe, because when God formed us, we were just like statutes, no life, motionless, but He breathed into us and we became living beings. So without His breathe we are just dead men walking.

Education is good, but you have to add Godliness. Professors who are Emeritus die, doctors die, scientist and inventors die also, rich or poorer you will die, so no matter who you are, death is inevitable. Properties here are good, lands, houses, cars, businesses, etc. but remember; you will not live here forever.

One day, you will go back to dust, if that day comes, what will be the use of the cars, houses, lands and the businesses? Surely, another man will take over your money. So it is necessary to invest in the kingdom of God, nothing can affect this investment. A life secured in the Lord can never be wasted.

Since life here on earth is too short and temporal, we need to remember our creator, we need to serve and serve Him alone. He needs to be adored and worshiped, because we are just dust but He loves us. He knows our beginning and our end; He alone needs to be feared. Praise God !!!

When All is Lost

Topic: When All is Lost

Memory Verse:  Even a tree has more hope! If it is cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches. Job 14:7 (NLT).

Word For Thought: When all is lost, God is gained. 

Suicide rates are high among people with depression, they become depressed due to life's eventualities. Many cannot stand life again when they lose something so dear to them such as cars, buildings, businesses, relationships, children and family. They become bitter, when life becomes bitter. In the midst of this bitter life, they chose to kill themselves, but God can make it better, He can turn water into wine, He can can turn our morning into dancing, even when there was no hope last night.

In the narrative historical book of Job, we see a man who God allows to be directly attacked by Satan. He is really an example of faithfulness as he loses everything important to him yet remains faithful to God. We must follow God’s sovereignty and faithfulness during a time of great suffering. Job went into a great torment, he lost it all, including his health, his wife even told him to curse God and commit suicide, but he remained strong and faithful, “Through all this, Job did not sin nor did he blame God.” (Job 1:22).

At the time when you lose all things, when you lose that man whom you are dating or courting to get married to, when you lose a husband or a wife, when the man says he wants to go and the wife has taken another man, what do you do? Suicide is not an alternative. When even no one cares for you anymore, what do you do? Don’t follow the dictates of men, but remain faithful to God. Be careful of what you hear and what you say.

When you have used all these years to build up a relationship, a career or even a business, and you lose it, please allow the praise of God to rain in your heart. Job initially worshiped God and he went on life again, the devil lost it at that point as in Job 1:20-22. Praise is a weapon that kicks away the sorrows and agony of life. Praises and worship at the time of test and trials, open the door for your captive to be taken captive, just as it happened when Paul and Silas were taken into prison.

Also, in the time of trials and tests, we must intercede for those who accuses us wrongly. Job’s friends from chapter 4-37, they gave him plenty of bad advice, in rounds of discussion. They mistakenly blame his sufferings only for his personal sins rather than God testing and growing Job. Job still remained faithful. But Job interceded for his friends, and in the end, Job answers God by saying, “I have declared that which I did not understand”. God then blessed Job with twice as much as he had before his trials began.

When Praises Go Wrong

Topic: When Praises Go Wrong

Memory Verse:  We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed us a sphere which especially includes you. 2 Corinthians 10:13

Word For Thought: All praises go to the Lord the one who made us, not us. 

If you want your destiny to run on course, please be careful when men praise you. Don’t allow it to sink into you. Remember that when men say you are good, maybe they have seen only the good side of you, they have seen only the outside but not the beauty or the ugly in the inside. Allow only the one who can see from the inside and out to praise you. Noah was praised by God; Job was praised both in the inside and out by God.

God searches the heart, man looks at the outside, appearance may be deceptive, but the creator will never go wrong about His products. All praises must be directed to the creator, creation has no praise, so be careful when men praise you. You are clay in the hands of the creator the master, He molds destinies and purpose. We are just vessels, no matter how precious a vessel is, it is of no importance, when it loses value.

According to Hall of Famer, John Wooden, “You can't let praise or criticism gets to you. It's a weakness to get caught up in either one.” Apostle Paul said “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. What we do each day is by grace. These messages I write is all by grace, out my very busy and tight schedule, yet God drops messages into my heart each day, I owe no credits in this, it is a provision straight from God. Who am I to boast in this, when I didn’t even do well in many of my English courses, yet by grace I have many books in me. It takes grace, not chances, chances just happen, but grace brings it to life.

David in our main text for today, did nothing when the women were praising him. He allowed them to sing their very badly composed music. This music is the reason why he has to live in the deserts and in the forests of life. David and Saul had a perfect relationship, in fact, it was a father and son relationship, until the praises song went wrong. Dear, don’t accept praises, direct them to God before you land your career or destiny in the forests and deserts of life. Have  blessed-full week, please keep me in your prayers. God bless you.

The Great Judge

Topic: The Great Judge 

Memory Verse: My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 1 John  2:1

Word For Thought: God is our just Judge, Jesus is our great Advocate

On earth here before you can win any case you need an advocate. An advocate pleads on your behalf or he/she declares your innocence. An advocate can be a person or an evidence. Lawyers uses evidences and the law to plead or to declare someone's innocence. They are determinants in any case, either you wish to win or lose a case.

In the spiritual realm, there is also an advocate who sits at the greatest courtroom in the heavenly place where cases judged. In this courtroom people are judged either into eternity or into damnation, to hell fire. In this courtroom each day your case is brought before the Lord, when He sees it, He needs no evidence you did it or not, He needs no law also, He only set you free, or you choose to be in bondage. In Job chapter one, the court met to discuss a cases the devil brought before God concerning Job. In the end, the trial went on and again but Job came out victorious. I don't know the case the devil is presenting against you but I declare that you have won in Jesus name !!!

Day by day Satan, the devil sends you and I to this same court room, he is called the accuser of the brethren, but the Lawyers here on earth cannot plead on our behalf over there, but there is one advocate or a Lawyer called JESUS!. This Advocate is with the Father, He is Jesus Christ the righteous. He pleads our innocence more also intercede on our behalf to the father.

Remember, there is no one righteous here on earth, but were are the righteousness of God in Christ. When the whole heavens was quiet, all the creatures in heaven were quiet, Jesus said Father send me and I will go. Jesus loves you and I to the extend that He suffered His Blood for you and I, how much more interceding on your behalf to the Father. Remember there is no sin that cannot be forgiven, give the case to Jesus. Are you sick, troubled, persecuted, frustrated by issues in this life, give all to Jesus our advocate.

Afflicted, but Multiplied

Topic: Afflicted, but Multiplied

Memory Verse:  But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel. Exodus 1:12

Word For Thought: Afflictions are the test of divine greatness.

In any school, you are tested on the level and the knowledge you have acquired. At the primary or the grade level, you are given grade or primary questions to answer, after you have excelled, then you are given the next level questions. The higher you go up the ladder of education, the harder the questions become. No one in high school will be given a university questions to answer, your test marches your level, nothing less and nothing more.

In the school of faith, the higher you go, the more you are tested. As we grow in the Lord, our levels of tests, temptations and trials become harder. The people of Israel found themselves in Egypt. As long as Joseph was living till another Pharaoh who knew not Joseph came, they were very ok. This new king decided to fight and afflict Israel, but the more he afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. If you are blessed by God, no one can curse you.

The king feared how they were been blessed and protected by God. He thought one day, they will grow to become a mighty army, so he afflicted them bitterly, but they grew mightily. Remember, the devil is not happy about your success in life and ministry, he will fight you till death but God will raise up a standard against him in Jesus name, you shall not die, although you may cry but God is capable of turning your cries into joy.

Remember Job, although he was loved by God yet God released him to be tempted by the devil. God testified about Job, yet that could not take him off Satan’s radar. He lost all he had, but God restored a double portion of all that he lost. Your love for God, dedication and service to the things of God will not prevent you from trials and temptations of life, but God will give you the needed grace to endure. David suffered but he was elevated to be the king of Israel, Joseph was elevated but he passed through a lot of tried times. Trials are the exit entrance exams into a life of greatness.
