Word For Thought: God has placed glory on dust and clay for His Glory.

Ashes has no glory. In the time of old they use it to mourn, fast and repent. Where ashes were, there was no glory, no honor, people weep and filled with sorrow, so they uses the ashes only to describe their state. And there is no amount of joy ashes can bring. Papa Abraham compared his low esteem with ashes, he had no glory, just as dust, ashes and clay, but God has placed honor on him to speak to Him. Beloved, ashes have no honor.

After the fall of man everything fell including our beauty, good health and prosperity, divine wisdom and the glory for exploits. So we traded our beauty for ashes. This was sad, but when Jesus came, He took off the ashes and placed on beauty that even in our distress, we must rest assured that all shall be well.

God placed honor on Jacob’s life because his name alone could not take him there. His name was ashes until his name was changed. The same with his grandfather Abraham and grandmother Sarah, their ashes were changed into beauty.

I don’t know what you are going through now, but my word for you is that, God can totally put a smile on your face. Be blessed and find a Church to go today.

Word For Thought: There is a seed time and harvest time, that is creation under the sun.

Time is very precious. When someone gives you one, please appreciate it, but it is sad when it is wasted. Ask people who have failed in their time, and they will tell you, their moments came but they were unaware of it. God respects time and anybody who wants to do exploit must give respect to time. The earth was timely created, Jesus timely came, lived and died, and rose again, sitting at the right hand of God and will timely come.

Any successful rich man has respect for time. There a time called seed time, and another called harvest time. The problem with people who are poor is that, they harvest when it is seed time, so their life is not productive unlike rich men. God has placed your destiny in hands of Mr. Time, if you don’t respect him, you will bow to failure and disappointment.

The children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, got to know what Israel ought to do in that time; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brothers were at their commandment. Time for war is not time for words, Goliath, no matter how powerful, his words fell, David's time to shine came.

These sons were intelligent men, who understood the signs of the times, well versed in political affairs, and knew what was proper to be done in all the exigencies of human life; and who now perceived that it was both the duty and political interest of Israel to advance David to the throne. May you follow divine time, and I promise you, your life will take shape.

Go Deeper

Topic: Go Deeper

Memory Verse:  He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him. Daniel 2:22

Main Texts: Luke 5:1-5

Word For Thought: God is still revealing deep and secret things.

There is another realm called “Deep”and only God can reveal that to you and me. Apostle Peter toiled all night to discover this but could not, until Jesus showed up to show him. He had the knowledge to discover, he was experienced to also know it, he also had all the needed resources and was at the right location of it but he could not. To know and discover the deeper things requires no man’s effort.

One problem we have as Christians now is that, we rely so much on our know how, we rely much on material things rather than waiting on God. We give up so quick, and we end up as a failure, in frustration and agony. But in the deep lies restoration, progress and prosperity. We are ok with the old prophecies, but what about now, can’t we go deeper? That same God who spoke of old is speaking now.

May be you have been searching for a way out in destiny, go deeper. You have been searching for your spouse, and it looks like you have toiled all night, my dear go deeper, cast your net. You have been looking for the fruit of the womb, go deeper. Hannah prayed deeper till she entered that realm. She was not of herself anymore, but it was all about Jesus, the one that shows great and mighty things, and Samuel came. Beloved, go deeper in prayer, reading and meditating scriptures, apply them and your life will take shape in Jesus name.

Demolishing Satanic Delays

Word For Thought: Remember until your authority is exercised, you are not different from a slave.

With a close look at Genesis 15:13, God said the descendants of Abraham will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and this nation, which is Egypt, will afflict them four hundred years, but it is noted that, the descendants of Abraham which is the people of Israel, spent four hundred and thirty years as in Exodus 12:40. The cause of this delay was a Pharaoh who came and didn’t know Joseph.This is a satanic delay.

A delay is a force of greater opposition, as you go forward it draws you backward, forward never, backwards ever. You were meant to run and flying, but still walking, nothing good comes your way, always struggling to survive. If you are experiencing delays, you need to pray hard. Prayer and fasting are used to demolish satanic delays. God said, be fruitful and multiply, delays are not natural orders but an error in the calculations of life.

Anything that opposes the order of creation needs to be demolished in Jesus name. Jesus took our infirmities on the cross. On the cross, diabetes was nailed, cancer dead, hypertension was pierced, so that you and I will arise in good health. Right now, any sickness oppressing your life is been nailed now in Jesus name.

Evil forces can manipulate men even who are even anointed. David was anointed, yet Satan oppressed him to count the people of Israel, Saul was also anointed, but evil spirits came to torment him. Some delays are straight from hell, they need a violent faith to move them out. Evil manipulations if taken unaware can cause a greater damage. How can another Pharaoh delay what God has said? Satanic delays always seek the downfall of a man, but God seeks our good. Let us all seek the kingdom of God and we shall never be destroyed because all things shall be added in Jesus name.

Your Name, Your Destiny

Word For Thought: Your name directs your blessings.

Your Name places a higher significance on your destiny. You can determine the destiny and the purpose of a man by his or her name. Adam gave names to all things created. Anything that has no name don’t exist.The name Immanuel was the prophetic name of Jesus, the name Jesus describes the purpose of Jesus, that is to say, He came to save us from sin, and the name Christ describes His nature. Christ, as also translated in Greek as Messiah, means "the Anointed One".

Apart from destiny and purpose, there is a spirit behind every name. Nabal was Abigail’s husband, this man lived just as his name means, he acted so foolishly that costed him his untimely death. Many died young not because of anything but their names. Their names are linked to the evil world so they can be easily used for bloody sacrifices. Many are struggling now because the name they were given by their parents is evil, disappointed, discouragement, failure, even some name their children after evil gods. How do you expect this child to live with such names.

All needed in Abram and Sarai’s  life was a change of name. As Isaac’s name was given by God as a promised Child, the name of Jacob was not. So God couldn’t bless him. Jacob has to wrestle in destiny. He has to steal blessings, but when his name changed, he became a blessing. Ichabod’s name has no glory in it, if not by divine intervention, he cannot succeed in life. May be all you needed is a name change.

Today, what is your name? Remember your name is attached to your destiny, purpose on earth, character, or your nature and your spirituality. Trace your name and pray for deliverance. Be blessed.

Recover All

Word For Thought: To be robbed of your heavenly blessings is an error.

Have you ever lost what really belongs to you? It is sad to note that, many people who are depressed now is as a result of what they have lost. May be you have lost your family, friends, money, business, properties etc., since you have not lost your life, you can recover all in Jesus name. How can this be? The word of God says so, recover all.

By divine authority, what ever that is stolen from you, you can recover. How can you recover, first you must know what is yours. Knowledge of what is yours builds your confident in authority to claim what belongs to you. Secondly, you must confront. To confront means to develop an action to claim what belongs to you; that is the step you make not the use of weapons but the use of prayer, fasting in obedience to the Word of God. David went to God, he knew what was his and has been lost, went to God in prayer and confronted to recover. Today, may God give you the same strength in Jesus name.

The devil is a thief, according to John 10:10, he comes to steal. To steal is to take that which is not lawfully yours. We are of the Lord, Jesus Christ has bought us with His precious Blood, and we owe no one but we are rightfully the Lord’s. We have His peace, joy, blessings, healing, etc, if anything that is meant for our good is stolen or taken away from us, then that is an error, by the authority in the name of Jesus we can recover.

Job recovered, also David when we look at our main readings; when the Amalekites invaded and attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire, they took captive the women and those who were there, from small to great; they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way, then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep. Are you weeping today?  David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God, may you be strengthened.

When the cause is Hidden.

Topic: When the Cause is Hidden.

Word For Thought: There is a cause to every problem.

There is a cause to every problem, the cause of sin is the delight of the eyes, the cause of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was sin, the cause of Abraham barrenness could be work without faith, and we all know Abraham moved from his home to go to the wilderness in obedience but he has to add faith. In Genesis 15:6, he has to believe God, why didn’t he do it before?

The defeat in Ai was Achan’s disobedience, the cause of Jacob’s struggle was his name, remember his grandparents name was changed; the cause of certain issues in this life can be from ancestral background. Abraham waited for 25 years to give birth, Isaac waited 20 years to give birth, Jacob married Rachel his beloved, but the beloved got married for 21years as per scholars and died at second childbirth.

Beloved, there is a cause to every predicament in this life. Little did job know that that the devil is at work in his home; I tell you if he knew, his prayer could have changed. Sometimes we may pray and fast, but yet the problem will still remain. Peter toiled all night, which is hard work, it is good to engage in hard work but to add a tasteful aroma to hard work is divine wisdom or divine revelation.

How do you access this? Pray with the Word of God, speak the Word in prayer; every hidden cause will break loose at the sound of the Word. A man sowed good seeds in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. Whiles you are toiling, sleeping at night, some people are planning evil, witches and wizards are on your neck, satanic forces are pounding forces, it takes grace to prevail against them. The key here is that they came at night. The night is when you are unconscious. When the cause is hidden, you need to pray it out.
