I believe faith will be very simple if they see God physically. Know who He is, whether black or white, short or tall. Whether He has multiple eyes, hands or legs that make Him present everywhere. Why? This is because our forefathers thought us that seeing is believing until you see don’t believe. But, when you flip the coin to the side you will realize that appearance may be deceptive. Not all that glitters are gold. Life is not about what you see, but what you believe to see. That is faith.

God has made Himself available to see in His Word. The Bible makes us understand in our memory verse that, the Word was God. So if you see the Word you have seen God. Jesus said I and my father are one. So if you see the Son, you have seen the father. That is why you need to know the Word so that you can build your faith. God can be seen in His word; the Word brings out the evidence of the hope to come.

Don’t live your life based on seeing is believing, dear many men you see who are very flashy are dangerous. They exist but for a moment. They are flowers for a brief moment, after a while, they will dry out and die. Trust in the Lord and seek the humble because God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. See through the future and don’t be satisfied what the now can bring. God is alive and I pray you see Him in His word today in Jesus name.

Sometimes, we face many terrible problems and despite our best efforts, there is no hope. Life hits us so much that the entire family has a dark cloud over it where all its members are suffering.  This suffering could include problems such as marital disharmony, addictions, miscarriages, feuds within family members and financial problems. We try to overcome them but we are kept at bay because the root of such problems lies in the spiritual dimension.

I have heard of several people, whose family curses were passed down their lineage. Believe it or not, ancestral and generational curses exist. Many people have tried all they could to become relevant, to be good and successful, some would even go to the extent of killing themselves; thinking that the only solution to their problems. Beloved, how can all the men in a family die in one day? How can all the women in one family not experience happy marriage? How can no one in the same family finish college, no matter how good they try?

Until we come to God as a family, surrender and dwell under His feet, family curses, and disgrace will continue. You need to understand that, your problems are not carnal, and since it is not carnal you cannot fight against it using carnal means. Evil wants to travail over the young ones in the family. Their names are called in the night and evil foods are given to them to eat. They grow up to be a vagabond and hopeless children. But today, at the sound of my voice that spirit will be disgraced in Jesus name. Surrender your life to Christ and serve Him alone and you shall be free indeed.

The disciples were chosen by Jesus, they walked with Jesus, they dined with Him, they saw many miracles, they saw many life challenges that He overcame, the storms and other life experiences, He cast out demons but yet they were not able to cast out a demon that had placed an epileptic spirit on a young boy. Beloved, when we talk about deliverance, it is not any Christian or even a believer who can do deliverance. It requires another level of faith.

Many life troubles, diseases, and sicknesses are caused by the devil, Satan. We as believers must rebuke the devil in other to stop him from tormenting people. A demon can live in a person whereby this person can cause great problems and that same person can be tormented by that spirit. Many oppositions we face in the church are spiritual. That is why we don’t only need people who are knowledgeable or educated to do the job but people who are very spiritual. People who really understand spiritual things.

From our today’s reading, a boy who had epileptic was sent to the disciples to be healed. In reality, someone with epileptic will be sent to the hospital but the parents were convinced that it was spiritual. The disciples didn’t know that but when Jesus came, He spoke to the demon, not the disease, here epilepsy. Beloved, your focus of your problem determines your total deliverance. Watch how you have been praying, ask for the source and pray.

I always say man is careless. Why? Ask the one who is smoking. He or she knows that that cigarette will kill him or her but; he may smoke two to three packs a day. Isn’t that carelessness? You know that prostitution is evil, yet you don’t mind to sleep with strange men. Look at the kind of problems this has caused the world yet, kings and princes are losing their crowns every day.

Men are killing men, we don’t care. Men are robbing men, we don’t care.  Men are selling and drinking alcohol. This is toxic to the body, but we don’t care. It has cost the lives of people. It is the root cause for broken homes, single mother and joblessness but men are still on top of it. There something we call addiction. This is a spirit that pulls you to a particular habit which may be good or bad. We must direct our addiction to the good of society, our family and ourselves.

It is about time we take responsibility for our actions. Man has refused to take up responsibility since creation. Adam was asked, but he threw it to the woman. Adam said, “The woman you put here with me, she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” Not for a second man pleaded for mercy or took a responsibility for his carelessness.

Sin is our carelessness. Every carelessness result into a sin and until man takes responsibility, there cannot be a genuine repentance if you and I refuse to take responsibility. Jesus is coming soon. Stop that and you will see that, that is stopped.

Black Spirit?

It is so unfortunate that; the color black is associated with bad things. Some people draw Satan and they will make his face black. But when Jesus is drawn, they will make Him white. The fact is that Satan is a master deceiver, he is an angel of darkness and planner of evil and either black or white can never be associated with him. And Jesus died for both black and white people, He has no favorites.

But generally, black is the color associated with evil or when we are in mourning. When someone dies we put on black and in my culture that is done often. Moreover, we term evil spirits black spirits because they can cause a nation to mourn, a community to wail and crumbled, can cause a family fatherless and motherless and can wipe out an entire generation.

Don't inquire of a black magic, they are black spirits and they have no mercy, they torment believers because they know that we belong to God and we are overcomers. They oppose and affect the wellbeing of a believer, but we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ our Lord. But as for unbelievers, they rule and manipulate their lives. Nothing works, because their destiny is tied by a black spirit.

They will organize but today God will disorganize on your behalf. They will oppress and fight but God will disappoint them in Jesus name. If they took your joy, God is bringing in a supernatural joy right now. If they have caused you barren, God will open your womb now in Jesus name. Black spirits can never win over God. God rules.

I believed you have been asking this same question. If God knows that evil will happen, why can’t He stop them before they happen? If He knows that these earthquakes and shootings will happen to even the saints, why can’t He stop them? But my dear, God is God and He operates with no man’s permission. The Bible says; the earth is of the Lord and the fullness thereof. There is little you and I can do, but He is the creator and we are the work of His hands, but if He allows these things to happen, please then He is up to something.

God told Hosea to marry a prostitute, Hosea was astonished but God was up to something and that was to prove to the people of Israel about how they have forsaken Him. God allowed the womb of Sarah to close for a while so that Isaac can be born to establish the Lord’s covenant. Hannah’s womb was closed just to wait for a particular time Samuel will be born to hear from God.

Beloved, that evil that came upon you made you closer to God, if it had not been that bad wife or bad husband; you wouldn’t have known who God is. Beloved, remember this that God is love and He will not allow you challenges you can’t handle. My prayer is that, stay in the Lord, be Holy and obey His word and He will establish you on His purpose in Jesus name.

God is Love and love is God. When you experience love, you have experienced God. Humans and angels can never tell us the extent of His love. It is higher than our imaginations, lower that no one can get the understanding, wider that you can never go round it. Looking at the fact that the sufferings that were meant for us, He took them upon Himself on the cross. He has taken our heavy load so we may have a lighter load; what a loving God.

Great men are always grateful. Gratefulness attracts greatness. David was a great king no doubt, but he was always grateful to God. If it had not been God, the family background of David would have disqualified him, even to kill Goliath, his skills were able to kill bear and lions. It was not his anointing because even anointed as a king he was denied the throne, he was a runaway king. God favored David and colorfully designed his destiny. Today if you will be grateful unto God, He will colorfully design your destiny.

Joseph was not popular among his brethren and family, they buried him but God brought him out. God didn’t only bring him out of the pit and prison but He made him the second in command Egypt. Thank God always, just as in our main text. Today, you shall be the first no matter the prevailing obstacles. Just be grateful unto God and men so that God can use men to carry you on high. Be blessed.
