To be free is not only free from troubles. Remember Jesus slept in a storm when people in the boat were all crying and wailing so to be free is not freedom from troubles but peace even in the midst of troubles. Freedom is when your limitations are taken off and you can be limitless in your endeavors. Many are resting and may be rich, they can buy and eat all they want but they are not free.

To be free is dwell under the secret place of God. Where the shadow of the Almighty is upon you. Where He alone becomes your fortress and defender in the time of troubles. That is what makes people sleep and not in distress in the time of troubles because God fights all their troubles. We worry too much about our problems, but we must learn to depend on God at all times and we will be free indeed.

Again to be free indeed is to be delivered from demonic oppression. Many are in Church but they are not free from demonic oppression. They are deeply possessed but hold vital church positions but their spirit is evil and envious. They are not free. You can see it from the way they live dress and talk. Until you are delivered, you can never be free. Judas was filled with envy, he died although Jesus chose him and was even close to Jesus that he became the financial clerk for Jesus’s Ministry.

Until that demon is cast out, you can never be free. In our main text today, a potential evangelist was deeply possessed by a legion, about 6000 demons. It is really possible to walk with thousands of demons. That is why please don’t sleep with a man or woman you are not married to because you don’t know the many demons you can carry home. This is the secret that when two couples marry for while they look alike. This is because in sex we share mutually spirits.

Until the man who was living in 6000 demons got delivered he couldn’t fulfill God’s destiny over his life. To be free is to fulfil destiny. After he was delivered, he asked to be with Jesus but Jesus made him to understand that, his purpose is to preach the gospel to his own people. When you are right with destiny, then you will be free indeed.

I will start by saying, life is precious, and it is a gift from God, it takes a careless man to play with it. Many are dead through carelessness. The word of God is preached day and night yet we are still living in sin, how long are we going to surrender? The life we live is just a breathe, as soon as that breath goes away, we are just dead men walking.

A woman came to my hospital, she was ok; just came in for blood pressure management, she was talking and eating, she was just waiting for a bed in the inpatient unit. As soon as she got her bed, she coded few minutes later, her blood pressure went up, she lost her breath and died instantly. I made rounds another time, as I reached the 6^th bed, I met a nice Spanish man, we spoke and we shared some laughs, he had such a great humor, very pleasant patient, as I reached the 14^th bed, he also coded, lost his breathe and died in the process. I have seen more terrible cases, accidents, and gunshots wounds; I have seen many cries, sorrows and agonies by families and loved ones. Life is too precious to care less about it.

Apostle Paul said; for him to live is Christ (Philippians 1:21). Indeed, that is true, we live by the breath of God each day. We are just dust and clay, polished by the grace of God, alive by His breath, because when God formed us, we were just like statutes, no life, motionless, but He breathed into us and we became living beings. So without His breathe we are just dead men walking.

Education is good, but you have to add Godliness. Professors who are Emeritus die, doctors die, scientist and inventors die also, rich or poorer you will die, so no matter who you are, death is inevitable. Properties here are good, lands, houses, cars, businesses, etc. but remember; you will not live here forever.

One day, you will go back to dust if that day comes, what will be the use of the cars, houses, lands and the businesses? Surely, another man will take over your money. So it is necessary to invest in the kingdom of God, nothing can affect this investment. A life secured in the Lord can never be wasted.

Since life here on earth is too short and temporal, we need to remember our creator, we need to serve and serve Him alone. He needs to be adored and worshiped because we are just dust but He loves us. He knows our beginning and our end; He alone needs to be feared. Praise God !!!

Wicked Plans Shall Fail

Pure evil is in this world and please don’t get me wrong, these evil plans are planned and concealed by the very people you dine with. But as you read this message today, that evil plan shall fail. The helper of the helpless is ready to rescue you. According to Psalm 91, our Almighty is our refuge and my fortress; in the time of trouble, in Him will we trust.

Judas was part of the twelve and in fact, he was very close to Jesus. Many ministers are close to their financiers and he was the one who was providing advice but because of envy, the close friend of Jesus, Judas Iscariot betrayed Him. Not only him but also Peter. He was the second in command, the one who will succeed Him after His mission here but not only once nor twice but three times.

Mordecai did nothing to Haman. In fact, the other Jews had no bearing but Haman wanted to kill them. If not by divine intervention and Haman had succeeded, all the children, the youth and the old would have died in the hands of the wicked Haman. Beloved, our forefathers stepped on wrong toes and we are paying for that. The only way is a divine intervention. Today, any evil man or woman pursuing you shall fail in Jesus name.

King David had evil in his home and kingdom and most of his Psalms are directed towards that. In today’s scriptures he is assuring you and I that, if we dwell in the secret place of God and abide in His presence then shall overcome all evil attacks from any angle. 

Today, you shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday because the Almighty is on your side, evil shall fail in Jesus name.

The Helper of Helpers

David was a mighty man but in distress, there was no one but God to help him. The Chief and Original Helper is the Almighty God, the King of kings, the LORD of lords, the One that positions people to help you, He is the Helper of the helpless, He is the very present help in times of trouble, He is the glory and the lifter up of our heads, He is the Original Promoter, He is the One that can demote someone in order to elevate you, He activates helpers for you to make you reach your goal in life. God Almighty will activate your helpers and send them your way to lift you up today in Jesus Mighty Name.

There was a famine in Samaria that was serious to the extent that people were eating their children. There was no rain and there was no help anywhere. As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, “Help me, my lord the king!” But the king replied, “If the Lord does not help you, where can I get help for you, from the threshing floor or from the wine press? If God doesn’t help our nation, no one can. It is about time we leave politicians out and let God in.

Also using the story in Mark 2:12, after Jesus healed the paralytic and forgave him his sins, he immediately arose, took up his bed and walked past those who had earlier not made a way for him (Psalm 23:5). Where there was no way before, God will make a way for you in Jesus Mighty Name. Your destiny helpers will not die until they have fulfilled the plan of God for your life. God will preserve your destiny helpers in Jesus Mighty Name.  

Do you have burdens, issues, problems, struggles, etc.? Have you surrendered your life to Jesus? Are you still leaving in sin? The root cause of your problems is unconfessed sins. Come to Jesus today; tell Him about all your pains, burdens and struggles. Jesus is the solution, He is the answer. Jesus would accept you; He would lift your burdens, take away your struggles, silence and terminate all those who want to delay you, He would activate destiny helpers to locate you, give you a brand new lease of life and write your name in the Book of Life.

Your Destiny Killers

Again destiny is what God created you to be; it is His divine purpose for your life. Destiny is also your assignment on earth here. It is the original plan of God for your life; the pre-determined future, God’s agenda for your life. Beloved, I share the burden of my brothers and sisters who are yet to fulfill destiny. Some are dreaming each day of what they believed is their potential and a God-given purpose that needs to be materialized but it looks like that destiny is killed and no hope of return.

Destiny killers block your dream, they divert your destiny, they cause delay, they frustrate efforts, they only see the negative side of you, and they are kill joys. Destiny killers tell you your vision is too big, they drag you back, and when they have dreams concerning you, such dreams are of calamity. Destiny killers are discouragers, they are wasters; they usually waste your time and waste your life, they limit you and mock you.

Don’t get me wrong, some destiny killers are in your household, in Church, and around you. Destiny killers are bent on abolishing your destiny as read in our main scripture reading. Destiny killers weaken your faith. If your destiny has been diverted, God would re-order it today in Jesus Mighty Name. Any tare that has been sown in your life by the enemy will be uprooted today in Jesus Mighty Name (Matthew 13:24-28).

An example of a destiny killer was Herod, who was bent on abolishing the destiny of others (Matthew 2:1-18). Another example is Sanballat and Tobiah in Nehemiah 2:10, who said the vision was to large; they were discouragers. If your destiny killers don’t change, God will trouble them; He would take away their peace, He would give them an assignment they cannot complete (Acts 23:12). If your destiny killers do not change, God would send them on a journey of no return in Jesus Mighty Name.

Your Destiny Partners.

When God saw Adam and he was very lonely, God said He will make him a helper. Adam was faced with a lonely destiny, he was faced with the world of greater competition, and God saw that error of loneliness and said “it is not good for man (both male and female) to be alone;  to accomplish destiny you need a helper or a help mate”. God saw loneliness as an error. You need a destiny helper.

Destiny is what God created you to be; His divine purpose. Destiny is your assignment, the original plan of God for you, a pre-determined future; it is God’s agenda for your life. Destiny is also what you ought to be in life. It is God’s design and purpose for you. It is God's pre-determined path for your life before you were born. Destiny is a blue print, a map and a natural course of events planned by God that will inevitably happen. Your helper is the one who is ordained by God to assist you to reach that God-given destiny.

Destiny helpers connect you to the top not the bottom; they facilitate your destiny, they add value, they are strategically positioned to help you arrive at your expected end, they go out of their way to help you, they help you navigate through all obstacles, they help you succeed (in your career, family, business, etc), they excavate barriers for you, they fight on your behalf as if the battle is theirs, they use their time and tools for you, they use their own network to open up opportunities for you, they are positioned by God to make your way smooth, they are ordained by God to assist, they share experiences, scars, counsel and wisdom that would save you the pain and frustration.

Jethro was a destiny helper to Moses (Genesis 18). In 2 Kings 5:3, it was a maid God used to help Namaan. Indeed maids are named 'househelps', positioned to help you, and not to be defiled by you. God can use anybody to help you. Elijah and the widow of Zarephath in 1 Kings 17:12-13, God saved the widow of Zarephath from death and sent Elijah to help her. Let’s us wait on God for our destiny helpers.

This Heart Business.

Don’t forget this that, your worship to God must come out of a pure heart. Some think that when we talk about worship we mean a slow music where when we sing people must cry and lift up their hands and roll over the floor. Some even judge a true worship when the leader cries and kneel down and sing with a soft tone. Beloved all is good but the worship that goes to God is when the heart is rendered before God.

Jesus told the Pharisees and He called them Hypocrites. He said Prophet Isaiah prophesy about them, saying: ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me and in vain they worship Me. Sometimes, when I hear gospel music, they sound not different from the songs they play in the club. The worship song is good to hear and sing but the heart of the music is far from God. It is not a heavenly music.

Worship is not only in music but it is how we offer our truthful heart unto the things of God. It is easy to preach or write as I am but if I am not doing it as a heart business, it is a service unto God, God will not recognize it. Our heart is all that God needs.

Finally, don’t be surprised that people who worship fornicate a lot. The reason is that a man can worship and act to the highest level but may not experience God. Men will fall and women will weep but that is just acting, but the heart of the people are toward God so God will visit them it is not the work of the musician but God. They will feel and experience His presence but the musician may not. They may demand high pay for programs but only time will tell, worship is a heart business. Seek ye first the kingdom and all shall be added to you.

I heard a testimony last time that it is still bordering my mind. a couple waited on God for twenty-seven (27yrs) before they had the fruit of the womb, and God gave them double, that is to say, twins. After days to weeks, several months to years, the Lord finally gave them two children, twins. They waited patiently to get the best of life.

Waiting is very challenging more especially when your patience is patience. That is to say, your expectation looks like it can never come to pass, but it can still come to pass because if God says so, then we need no interpreter because He speaks our language and it can be done. As believers, we do not control our lives. We have left all to follow Christ, we are on His time table. Our expectation is from the Lord, moreover, it is sealed by God, until God releases no one can get access to divine privileges. The key to that expectation is waiting on the Lord.

Maybe it is your time to get married but wait on the Lord. Although many potential suitors are in line, but wait on the Lord. Wait on the Lord for the fruit of the womb. Maybe your story is close or above what happened to the family above, but the key word is waiting on the Lord; In His time, He makes all things better and beautiful.

Many are the thoughts of man, but it is only the will of God that shall stand. If God says yes, no man born of flesh and blood can say no. Even Dagon and Nebo which were smaller gods bowed to our God. In waiting on the lord, you must engage in prayer and fasting, until your redeemer, you will not stop.

“Enough is Enough 2016" is coming off this summer. It is a 5-hour prayer, the word, praise and worship, deliverance program, aimed to cry unto God for the impossible. Please pray about it. I have prayed to God that, if He will not answer you, He shouldn’t let it come on. But I know He will.  It is a platform for a miraculous breakthrough. God bless your Jesus precious name.

Pride Costs.

Pride is killing this generation of Christians. We are more prideful than the early believers. Jesus was king but He never called himself or allowed people to call Him a king. He was also God but he took the form of a disgraceful and a disappointed man. He was rich but took our poverty, He was clothed in fine linen but took the disgraceful rags of shame and reproach on himself and died that we may live.

He gave sight to blind, healed the sick, gave food to thousands yet, there was no pride in Him. Now, that can never be said about the now pastors and church leaders. We are more flesh than spiritual, more concern about titles than spiritual titles. That is while many defile themselves and think it is ok if they can still perform miracles and pull crowds, but dear remember the devil too can perform miracles and heal the sick because he caused those predicaments. Jesus came to destroy the work of the devil. The fact that God is using you does not give you the right for people to serve you. Pride is cheap, it makes men who fall to it cheap.

The cost of David for going into the wilderness was pride. After killing Goliath, he allowed women to make him a king so he has to go into the wilderness until he is humbled. I refuse to approach any man for a position in the church or anywhere, I am so humbled in God and I know one day He will lift me up, until then I am more content and feel joyful about what I am doing. The cause for pride is when men make themselves instead of God.

Solomon who was a man of wisdom said; to fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Anyone who hates pride pays the price to be great. God hates the prideful man; the LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished as says Solomon in Proverbs.

Check yourself; pride has placed a cheap value on you that men don’t even recognize you to marry. Pride has made you jobless because you went for the interview and they saw that. Pride has placed a cheap value on you as a pastor or an elder, you are not climbing up because you have refused to start from below. I pray that pride will not consume you this year.

Forgive or Forget

To forgive is to surrender your case against someone or yourself. This is the definition I can come up with as far as this message is concern. To only God belong mercy and forgiveness. If anybody deserves forgiveness from God, we don’t even come close. This God created us out of His own expense, built up a beautiful city called Eden for us that the world including Satan became envy. Gave us extraordinary power that all creation including Satan bowed to us because we had God in us and food was not a problem. Clothes were not a problem because His glory was upon us.

With all these provisions, He gave us only one commandment that we should obey. The day we disobey we will lose all provisions and power and we will become His enemy instead of Him as our father. When the traitor came, man forgot his father and employed to be under the one who was submitting to us. Man sinned and became God’s enemy. If you were God, what will you do? But in all, God full of mercy forgave us and even killed His own Son to use His Blood to seal up our reunion.

Looking at how I have summarized in my own words about man’s disobedience, this story is experienced in our everyday life. It happens in marriage, in relationships, also in schools, in church and in our communities. We find it difficult to forgive people when they offend us. If the maker can do, if He has forgiven you why can’t you forgive others?

Forgiveness is the nature of God in us. If we cannot forgive then we have to forget that we are children of God. Don’t find it hard to do that, ask for mercy and grace from God to do that. It is not easy but if we still hold grudges; we hurt ourselves and make the other better. Our lives matter, release the man or woman you have put under bondage of unforgiveness.

Bitterness is known in the Bible as spiritual poison and a means by which many are defiled and fall short to the grace of God as in Hebrews 12:15. Bitterness is the cause of many cancers in this life. It affects both the soul and the spirit of man and it damages the physical body. It is the single bullet that can shoot hundreds and can destroy an entire generation. Haman was bitter, that was why he wanted to wipe out the entire Jews.

My dear, bitterness is the source of countless spiritual and physical problems in millions of lives today. The Bible tells us that many are defiled by the means of bitterness. Bitterness can be tricky to recognize because it's not a symptom or visible on the surface like anger usually is. Many claim that they aren't an angry or hateful person, but that's not what bitterness is all about. Bitterness is an underlying problem that doesn't always manifest on the outside, but dwells in that person's system.

Bitterness can be kept to oneself and no one will know. This makes it a silent killer and a poison that kills slowly. Bitterness is the cause of many broken homes and broken marriages. It started many wars we are facing right now globally. Bitterness can be the cause why the church is not growing and it is the root cause of unforgiveness. Without any seed of bitterness, it is easy to forgive. People hold grudges because of bitterness.

Today, refuse to be bitter. You don’t have a place in heaven if you allow bitterness to reign in your heart. Many have vowed not to talk to a friend who offended them long ago in high school, that former church, a group or even in a past relationship all because of bitterness. Repent and live long.
