Pride is killing this generation of Christians. We are more prideful than the early believers. Jesus was king but He never called himself or allowed people to call Him a king. He was also God but he took the form of a disgraceful and a disappointed man. He was rich but took our poverty, He was clothed in fine linen but took the disgraceful rags of shame and reproach on himself and died that we may live.

He gave sight to blind, healed the sick, gave food to thousands yet, there was no pride in Him. Now, that can never be said about the now pastors and church leaders. We are more flesh than spiritual, more concern about titles than spiritual titles. That is while many defile themselves and think it is ok if they can still perform miracles and pull crowds, but dear remember the devil too can perform miracles and heal the sick because he caused those predicaments. Jesus came to destroy the work of the devil. The fact that God is using you does not give you the right for people to serve you. Pride is cheap, it makes men who fall to it cheap.

The cost of David for going into the wilderness was pride. After killing Goliath, he allowed women to make him a king so he has to go into the wilderness until he is humbled. I refuse to approach any man for a position in the church or anywhere, I am so humbled in God and I know one day He will lift me up, until then I am more content and feel joyful about what I am doing. The cause for pride is when men make themselves instead of God.

Solomon who was a man of wisdom said; to fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Anyone who hates pride pays the price to be great. God hates the prideful man; the LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished as says Solomon in Proverbs.

Check yourself; pride has placed a cheap value on you that men don’t even recognize you to marry. Pride has made you jobless because you went for the interview and they saw that. Pride has placed a cheap value on you as a pastor or an elder, you are not climbing up because you have refused to start from below. I pray that pride will not consume you this year.

“Enough is Enough 2016" is coming off this summer. It is a 5-hour prayer, the word, praise and worship, deliverance program, aimed to cry unto God for the impossible. Please pray about it. I have prayed to God that, if He will not answer you, He shouldn’t let it come on. But I know He will.  It is a platform for a miraculous breakthrough. God bless your Jesus precious name.

God loves you and wants to set you free. Salvation is the gateway for divine blessings. If you are not born again, you are not free. If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or you want to renew your faith,  please pray this prayer 

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”'

Prayers for Today

1. Father, I praise and worship you today, for who you are.
2. Father, I repent of any prideful life in Jesus name.
3. Father, I pray, may the humility of Christ reign in my heart in Jesus name.
4. Father, I pray, grant me mercy and grace to be humbled and content in Jesus name.
5. Father, by fire by power, that seed of pride must die today in Jesus name.
