Topic: Don’t Give up!

Word for Thought: You can never do enough.

Most times when we face a lot of life frustrations and failures, we just want to give up. When we face with diverse forms of trials and storms of life we want to commit suicide and die. We always want life to be a free run with no turbulence and disturbance from any quarters,  but life is not designed to be a free ride.  If we fly it in the sky, there are turbulence, if on the sea, there are waves and tides, if put life on the road, there are potholes and bumps, so life no matter what has its challenges, how you live it matters.

From our main scripture reading, Paul and the other prisoners en route to Rome, faced a shipwreck , at the end that all hopes were gone, but in the midst they had a meal and the storm was taken care of by God. This is how life in the Lord is, He said “cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you” I Peter 5:7. Life in the Lord is far better than life in this world, it is incomparable. God can produce better in a second than thousand of years  can produce. Just cast any burden onto Him now, for He cares for you.

Given up is not the case of the believer, many are the afflictions, but we are not meant to deal them ourselves, but God in His own time will deliver us. If the Lord does not, nobody can, so you can never do enough. If your life is in your hands, then you have not truly surrendered it to God. New life is a life of total surrender.  Since your life is hidden in Christ, you have nothing to worry about, cast all your cares upon Him so you have nothing to give up. My God shall redeem you in Jesus name.

5.       Pray this “Today every satanic agenda for my life is destroyed in Jesus name”
