Topic: Jesus the healer

Memory verse:  Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. Matthew 4:24

Main Texts: Isaiah 53:5Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:13-15,

Word for Thought: It takes the maker to unmake and fix

The Word with God in the beginning and the Word became flesh and dwell among us as says in the John's gospel chapter one. We all know that the Word is Jesus who came to dwell with us, He is completely God and so He also spoke and exercised authority over man's problems and predicaments. God saw the earth was formless, He commanded light, the same way Jesus saw sicknesses and He commanded healing.

Everywhere Jesus went He was doing good. A mighty healer, healing the leprous, cripples started walking, the blind seeing, the lame and the death all received divine healing. Jesus was and is now,our healer. God spoke the Word and the Word is Jesus. He sent His word and healed them, Psalm 107:20, He is the creator and so healing is one His fixing or remodeling capacity.

Jesus did His part, and we his disciples must wake up, since Jesus healed and still healing people. Sometimes I see some people who are glorying in sickness I marveled. Jesus was genuinely moved out of compassion for the sick. For Him healing was an essential part of His ministry to hurting people and not merely an "opener" before the message.

It takes faith to receive divine healing. Divine healing is only from God and there is no other. Until we apply our faith to His Word, we cannot be the extraordinary. Even among unbelievers there is a general perception of Jesus as a healer of the sick. It is closely entwined with who He is and how He acts towards needy people. People see Jesus as someone who is supposed to meet their deepest needs, including the need for physical healing; hope you do too.

Prayer:
1.       Pray and thank God for His divine healing grace
2.       Pray for the sick today, also to those in the hospitals
3.       Declare this as many times; “I shall not die, but live”

4.       Pray that, all your family and the rest of the family
