Topic: Your Tongue is Powerful

Word for Thought: The tongue is powerful that no man can tamed.

God, the creator, created this earth and the heavens His spoken Word. God said it and it came to pass. The same God created us to be like Him, so every word a man speaks, carry power, and it is expected to come to pass. 

Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Because your tongue has power, our Apostle says we should not allow any corrupt word proceeds from our mouth. That is why it is difficult to achieve any thing good if you always complain, also if you live among people who discourages, you cannot achieve anything good, but except those who can motivate you. Our words are not formulated from our head but our heart, because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. You then speak your heart; the tongue is the controller of the feelings of the heart, know that every idle word matters, every encouragement matter, so speak well.

Please today speak good words to yourself, family and children. Demonic powers know what is in the heart by what we say. They cannot know what our heart says until we speak it. So every word you say to yourself matters. A mother who calls her son useless, only time will tell, the son will eventually turn out to be useless. 

James 3:10 - Out of the same mouth proceeded blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Please every curse you speak on your children will come to pass, some of us are dealing with curses now, Satan and his cohorts depend on these to afflict people. Speak good. The tongue can speak life or can speak death. Therefore what you speak today will either make you alive or kill you. This is how powerful the tongue is.  In this world, it takes the one who has power to order a judgment, so if our tongue can decide on death and life then our tongue is powerful.

1. Praise and worship God for the power of His word.
2. Pray to avert any negative words you have spoken against yourself and others.
3. Pray this "Father may you guide my tongue today in Jesus name".
4. Pray this "Father create in me a clean heart, if my heart is clean, then my tongue will be clean"
5. Pray this "From this forth, my tongue is disconnected from the Devil's radar in Jesus name"
