Light and Darkness.

Topic: Light and Darkness.

I agree with John the Baptist that Christ the anointed savior is the Light that gives light to every man that enters this world. Beloved, God created us to be like Him and also to carry His form. God commune with man and man exercised such a great authority that the earth hears man when he commands. Man was also the light that needed no clothes to bright himself. The glory of God covered man and man had such a great wisdom to name all mankind.

Sin is the problem and was the problem that made man lost his place here on earth. Sin brought so much darkness that man who was light has to run to darkness to hid from God who was Light. Beloved, it is not the will of God to see a man in darkness so He sent Jesus who was Light to come to the world to die in our state so that we can possess Light again.

The reason why you still love darkness is the fact that you still lack the Light and this Light is what gives man life. In my book “Let there be Light” which is sold on amazon.com share more on this topic. Great and powerful insights into the Word that gives Light.

The work of the cross erased our darkness to give us light by the Blood of Jesus Christ. Today, acknowledge this Light and you shall never be in this darkness of shame, reproach and satanic oppressions. Remember, this is the Light that gives light to every man that comes into this world. Are you in this world? Then, you need Light.

“Enough is Enough 2016" is still coming off this year in November. It is a 5-hour intensive prayer retreat, the word, praise and worship, deliverance program, aimed to cry unto God for the impossible. It is vital you commit all your needs in prayer unto God, especially when the year is about to end, your problems must end.

The Hard Way.

You need not be lazy, work hard. Hard work doesn’t kill but it makes you hard, so unbreakable. What do I mean by that? When you study hard, you can easily solve hard questions, in the same vein, when you work hard, you easily live peacefully in hard times. What breaks people for them to cry, simply cannot break you. Hard work pays, it simply makes you hard.

What is killing most Christians now is laziness. We easily want to pray but no action. We don’t even watch while we pray and that is dangerous. Bible admonishes us to watch and pray so we don’t fall into temptation, so you can imagine how many people who have fallen into temptation only that they didn’t watch when the prayed. Watching is the work attached to prayer.

God is our provider but nothing is for free from Him, not even salvation because somebody paid it with His Blood. Many young ones are not useful all because they talk too much but no action. Many old and long-in-the-ministry men and women are still struggling all because they have refused to subdue and till the land.

All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty according to our main text. The wealth of the wise is their crown, but the folly of fools yields folly. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. God bless.

The Second Chance.

We serve a loving God who is known as the God of second chances. Beloved, our God is rather a God of all possible and impossible chances. Where you will think no mercy, that is where He will show mercy, where unloving is where His unfailing love is demonstrated. You cannot predict Him, the only thing is to just come to Him, trust and obey and you will be happy.

Jonah was a prophet of God. In fact, as a prophet God gave him a task just as any prophet to go to the sinful city Nineveh but he refused. In the end, God allows a fish to swallow him for three days. Beloved, in the belly of the fish, he cried and pleaded for a second chance and our loving God granted him another chance. He experienced a great revival that a city which is covered in three days was covered in a day.

A second chance is a revival. It happens so there can be a great speed into destiny. Some of us, our revival came when God gave us another life when we seriously got sick. We prayed and fasted and miraculously healing came. After losing your job, things became very tough, but God gave another job and on the second time, there was a great revival.

Revivals don’t just happen. There must be a fall, then after you arise into a revival. Maybe you lived your life in prostitution, God can turn the tables around for you to marry and set up a healthy family, you will steal no more, God can give you a decent job you do not qualify. Until we go to Him in prayer, there can never be a great revival.

Man Like You 2.

As I was meditating on this memory verse, a message dropped from heaven to me “A man like you”. The way you can make an impact is by receiving from heaven. Daniel made an impact in Babylon when he received from above. Also, Joseph came out from prison because heaven showed him a dream that no man could explain including all the earth’s most powerful. Beloved, when heaven speaks, He turns a man just like you and me supernatural.

Yesterday I laid emphasis that, you are a porter in the hands of the master. Today, I want to tell you that God can make you and me the supernatural. To be supernatural is to possess abilities above the natural to affect the natural. It may sound ambiguous but, natural abilities work on natural things but to affect the things of the spirit you need powers above the natural.

Maybe you are sick, the natural sense is to see the doctor but after the doctor screens to his abilities, he sees nothing but you feel sick and there is nothing any man can do. That was the state of the women with the issue of blood. She spent all she had on the natural but nothing came out until she met Jesus. Beloved, you have struggled for long, receive all the needed grace to walk in the supernatural.

Elijah was a man like you and me, but he prayed and the law of nature ceased. For good three years, there was no drop of rain on the land. A man with like passions like you and me. Men who provoked nature like Abraham at old age and Sampson with enormous strength were men like you and me. Father!! grant us the grace of the supernatural!!

Man Like You.

Don’t think you are a different creature but a flesh and a blood, a clay in the hands of the porter. He breaks, melts and molds you for His tastes with no permission from you so don’t think high above others, you are just a man like me. If I can make it, surely you can also make it. If the porter has bless me, that same can bless you, man like you!

Refuse to be ridiculed, refuse to be trampled upon, you are just a make like me. Refused to be ashamed, refused to be pitied, you have been mold well, wonderfully and beautifully made. You are not a sign of mediocrity but a wonder and of power, receive the needed grace to walk in power and be restored in Jesus name!

Job was a man like you and me, Joseph was also flesh and blood, David was anointed, but he went into the wilderness. At some point you must left alone in the hands of the porter. He works with one clay at a time. When your time comes, no matter where you are, you shall come out in Jesus name. When light comes, darkness run on heels. Arise and shine, your years of satanic oppressions are over, man like you!

Jesus' earthly ministry took place right in the midst of difficult social and political atmosphere. Many of His followers, including the Twelve, to varying degrees expected Him to free them from Rome's oppressive rule. But our Lord did not come as a political deliverer or social reformer. He never issued a call for such changes, even by peaceful means.

Very soon we will go to the polls to vote for our new president and other elections. Beloved, we are in a hot political debate. Many are wondering whom to vote. We are in the midst of a difficult social and political atmosphere. But the question is, what is our place as Christians? We need to lift up prayer, that God who makes kings and kingdoms will appoint us a man or a woman who can lead this country peacefully.

I don’t discourage Christians from expressing their political affiliations but I discourage pastors and religious leaders to stop affiliating themselves with political candidates and publicly endorsing and supporting them. Certainly, no prohibition on believers being directly involved in government as civil servants, as some notable examples in the Old and New Testaments illustrate. If you are a gospel musician, evangelist, a chief or a king please allow your political affiliation to remain with you.

In the truest sense, the moral, social, and political state of a people is irrelevant to the advance of the gospel. Jesus said in today’s memory verse that His kingdom was not of this world. In the same vein, our kingdom is not of this world. We should not allow any politician to lure us into any evil ways and selfish ambitions. The greatest temporal good we can accomplish through political involvement cannot compare to what the Lord can accomplish through us in the eternal work of His kingdom.

Remember to keep in your prayers our first program which is coming off this summer in New York City, “Enough is Enough Encounter”. Please pray about it. I prayed to God if He will not answer you, He shouldn’t let it come on. But I know He will. It is a platform for a miraculous breakthrough. God bless you

Frustration is that feeling of impatience and anxiety that we get when we think our needs are not being met or when we deal with seemingly insurmountable problems. Sometimes, God is the focus of our impatience and dissatisfaction we become very frustrated with Him. Sometimes, some of us feel frustrated and disappointed when our prayers are not answered, but hear me; God is too faithful to His promise, He will never fail.

Some even accuse God on His Word because He says “Call unto me and I will answer” then why is He not answering? Some pray only to even see the worse. Mr. Job was a prayer warrior; he prayed to avoid his fears, yet they came upon him. But this is my personal experience; when I pray, I don’t expect my will to happen but God’s will. A prayer without a desire to allow God to work or answer in His own way will lead to frustration.

Your prayer must follow a premise that even though He slays me yet, I will trust in Him and may only His will be done not mine. Many people throughout the bible went through so many trials. Job lost everything including his health yet he continued to trust in God. Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers then sent to prison for a crime he did not commit.

Both Job and Joseph could have been angry with God and said, "WHY ME!" Instead, they chose to daily put their trust in God. Sometimes God allows us to hit rock bottom so that we may be more dependent on Him and lean on Him more. I know it has been delayed, but God has a purpose for you, my dear, just as He did with Job and Joseph. God works on His time and not ours. Blessings will come to you, just hold strong and pray for patience!!

Many people talk. In fact, people will never leave you alone until they have said something whether negative or positive about you. They will accuse you of things you have not done and will pursue total judgment on you. Some have left their wrongs and evil ways only to talk about yours. Some are in serious and an unforgiven affair but they will leave theirs to talk about yours, also they may be in bad marriages with vagabond children but they will say your children are the worse.

Beloved, no matter what you do here on earth, people will cast stones. The sad thing is that many at times, they are wrong. When you encounter God, you automatically encounter His power that will deliver you from death to life. So no matter what people say you can overcome. Remember words are power, they can damage you or build you. But most times, people cast words on us only to damage us.

Envy is the root cause for people to cast stones. Looking at the bible verse for today. We realized that the people didn’t like the woman. They caught only her but left the man who was involved. It takes two to commit adultery. Secondly, they wanted to tempt the ministry of Jesus. They knew what to do since the law of Moses says so, but they wanted to involve Jesus in their murder. People talk only to involve you in evil plots against your leaders, parents and even yourself. Be careful of what people say.

My Father, My Father

Happy Father’s day to all my fathers and readers of this devotion. Your selfless devotion and love to the family, the church and the nation are much to be thankful for on this day. May God richly bless you. God is our father. Father God not only loves us in the church. He loves us wherever we are. He loves what we do and what we become. He watches over us while we sleep and wakes us up every morning to start a new day in His love!

Our Heavenly Father has a love for us, His children, that is unmatched. All the heavens and all of the earth were created with us in mind. He wanted a beautiful place for His family of mankind. He provides everything we need and much of what we want. He cares about every aspect of our lives; our health, our family, our life’s work, hobbies, dreams, and even our desires; such a great father.

With our heavenly Father as our role model, we earthly fathers can glean inspiration from Him, even if our experience as sons was with a bad father or no father at all. Though we may fail in one area or another, the love of a good father never fails, as our heavenly Father helps us to share His love.

The title of Father comes to some men through biology, marriage, or adoption. The love of a Father solidifies and confirms the right to that title. It is the highest title a man may hold. It is a title most solemn, conferred and blessed of God. My children are and will always be my cherished blessings, and I will always be their Father.

Man's Carelessness.

I always say that man is careless. Why? Ask the one who is smoking. He or she knows that that cigarette will kill him or her but; he may smoke two to three packs a day. Isn’t that carelessness? You know that prostitution is evil, yet you don’t mind to sleep with strange men. Look at the kind of problems this has caused the world yet, kings and princes are losing their crowns every day.

Men are killing men, we don’t care. Men are robbing men, we don’t care. Men are selling and drinking alcohol. This is toxic to the body, but we don’t care. It has cost the lives of people. It is the root cause for broken homes, single mother and joblessness but men are still on top of it. There something we call addiction. This is a spirit that pulls you to a particular habit which may be good or bad. We must direct our addiction to the good of society, our family and ourselves.

It is about time man takes responsibility for our actions. So man has refused to take up responsibility since creation. Adam was asked, but he threw it to the woman. Adam said, “The woman you put here with me; she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” Not for a second man pleaded for mercy or took action for his carelessness.

Sin is our carelessness. Every carelessness result into a sin and until the man takes responsibility, there cannot be a genuine repentance. Stop that and you will see that, that is stopped.
