Word For Thought: Silent Killers appear in disguise, but very dangerous.

When Samson saw Delilah, he taught he has met the queen of his life, his first lady; he taught that woman was a God choice for him, the lover of his life; so he hurriedly bonded with her, but he died because of her. Samson was called to defeat the Philistines, how on earth will he bond in love with an enemy? If your enemy doesn’t die, he will kill you instead.

The secret is that the devil who is a killer, as in John 10:10; would not come in with a gun to shoot but will present a sugar for salt, money for moaning, fame for shame and so you may consider it a blessing but, is a silent killer. Sometimes, when you listen to peoples’ testimony, you see that they have been caught in the devil’s trap but they say is a blessing.

By revelation, many men and women, anointed and most powerful are dead because of silent killers. Silent killers are lovers, they love us with their mouth but deep in the heart is hatred. They will appear to support you but, they will allow your Saul to hit you with an arrow. They seem to care, but, deep in their heart they want you to fall and fail. They are always close to you, but they are a great hindrance to destiny.

If the disciples knew that Judas was going to betray them, they wouldn’t have tolerated him in their midst. But that was too late. Silent killers are unnoticeable, you cannot find them. In some churches, we have silent killer members, they oppose any move, we also have silent killer elders, they are there to oppose to the church growth and youthful involvement, but they still appear to support the youth, they are killers. There are silent killer pastors, apostles and bishops; they oppose the free flow of the power of the Holy Ghost. Restored Destiny

Topic: Restored Destiny

Word For Thought: We serve a God of a second chance.

Today it is sad to note that many people are committing suicide.  They choose death instead of life. Just yesterday a young Ghanaian model committed suicide in California. Let no one deceive you, suicide is never and will never be a solution to life problems. But rather it is a ticket to hell fire. Suicide is a sin and God says; thou shall not kill.

Continuing from yesterday’s message, we realized that, the life of Gehazi got wasted; the life of Esau got blessed because he worked hard to take off the yoke upon his neck, but it was not like the blessings of Jacob. Not the case of Judas Iscariot, he committed suicide. After looking at what he has done, the money in his hand was nothing but a curse which was going to follow him all his life. When you trade destiny, you trade your existence.

Peter was pursued by the devil, only to make him fail. He denied Jesus three times, unlike Judas who did it once.  But Peter pleaded on the mercy seat, and the God of compassion restored him back. If there was anyone to be lost, Peter was on the verge of losing destiny, but he saw through the eyes of the compassionate God who forgives all sins.

No matter what you have done, or what you are going through, God is ready to forgive you. The prodigal son came to himself and said “I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” God can restore you today, be of yourself and come just as you are.

Destiny Traders

Topic: Destiny Traders

Memory Verse: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5(NIV)

Main Texts: Genesis 25:27-34

Word For Thought: Your destiny is God's special gift wrapped in flesh and blood for you.

Today I want to touch base what the Lord ministered to me. Our destiny can be traded  even though God has blessed us with it. Under this context, our destiny can be fully exchanged for a curse instead of a blessing, sorrow instead of joy, struggle instead of rest. Isaac loved Esau that, him being the carrier of the father’s blessing, could not bless Esau. This is because, Esau traded his destiny for a morsel of bread and beans. Esau was destined to be the father of many nations, but his destiny was traded.

Again, Gehazi was destined to carry a quadruple of Elijah’s anointing. He only needed to  be content  with his master Elisha, just as he was with Elijah, but he traded it for a few money, few clothes and worldly pleasure as in 2 Kings 5:20-22. Naman wanted  to buy healing, but it was not to be sold. 

We cannot leave Judas Iscariot out. He was empowered by God through Jesus Christ to preach the gospel and the devil fell down flat, just as in John 10:17-18 but he traded this destiny for thirty pieces of silver as in Mathew 26:15. He would have been a formidable witness to our generation. When you trade your destiny, you deprive your generation.

Please don’t sell your gifts, don’t sell your anointing, indirectly, you are selling your destiny.

So sad some people start well as preachers, gospel musicians, prophets, evangelists, etc., but end bad. The reason is that they engaged in destiny business. They sold their soul to the devil for disgrace. I pray today that your destiny will be restored in Jesus ame.

It is Finished

Word For Thought: Jesus paid it all, indeed you are not indebted, but free.

Jesus was anointed by God to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, also to proclaim liberty to the captives and the oppressed, recovery of sight to the blind, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. This was the way He introduced His mission in Nazareth, the place He was brought up.

Today’s passage is our heritage for our kingdom advancement and divine benefits. Jesus came to save us from sin, from any predicament that sin brought to us. Our Eden life was life free from oppressions, free from satanic chains, poverty, sickness or any limitations in this life. On the very cross where all these were nailed, He said, “It is finished”.

If we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and savior, we must also accept Him as our healer, also as our restorer, our redeemer, as our deliverer, and as our friend. Any form of oppression you are going through now has already been paid for on the cross for you to be free now.

The apostle Peter was grammatically right as in 1 Peter 2:24, the Bible says; by whose stripes you were healed. Our price to be healed from HIV, hypertension, diabetes, blindness has already been paid, we are healed, not about to be, we are healed by the stripes He took in our place. Jesus paid it all. It is finished.

The Broken Altar

Topic: The Broken Altar

Memory Verse: Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. 1 Kings 18:30

Word For Thought: What can you do, when the altar is broken?

An altar in Scripture indicates an approach to God or communion with Him, and the altar is a place of sacrifice or covenant. When you send anything to the altar, it is meant to be sacrificed unto the Lord. When you send money to the altar, it is a sacrifice offering, when it is accepted then a covenant is established. There are several covenants between man and God all were made on an altar. Talking about Noah, after an offering at the altar, God swore not to destroy the earth just as He did. That is the Noahidic Covenant. Abraham did the same, Moses, David, and Jesus, our Lord have their respective covenants.

When you send a man or a woman to the altar, you say; “Lord, here I am, presenting my wife or husband to you to be sacrificed”. Then when God approves, then a covenant is made between both of you and God. Be very careful of divorce, you put God to shame.

Altars again teach us that our approach to God and communion with Him is based on the one great sacrifice of Christ, to which all the sacrifices of the Old Testament point forward. Jesus was taken to the altar to be sacrificed for mankind so that you and I will be saved. His blood is the seal of the new covenant.

Before Elijah could command fire, he has to repair the altar because it was broken. When an altar in marriage is broken, unforgiveness, pain, failure,  struggles, hatred, and even death are inevitable. When your prayer altar is broken, you lose fire. When your business altar is broken, you lose customers, when your educational altar breaks, you fail. Your altar can be, what you are committed in doing that makes you prosper in anything you do. If it breaks, you are broke. God bless you today.

Word For Thought: Your land of promise is not any other land

Your location matters when you want to operate in divine destiny. Our father Abraham was asked to leave his father’s house, Isaac was asked not to go to Egypt but to stay in Gerar, then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold, and the Lord blessed him. Isaac began to prosper and continued prospering until he became very prosperous that the Philistines envied him. So if you want to be counted, your location matters.

Jacob moved from his father’s house so he can be blessed to be called Israel. A location changed as divinely directed is a blessing. God has to move his people from Egypt so that they can go to the promise land. Egypt is a representation of struggles, slavery, torture, disgrace, misfortune, disturbance, pain, sorrow, agony, troubles and persecution; but God changed their destiny miraculously.

Elisha with Elijah; moving from Bethel, through Gilgal, then they came to Jericho, not until they reached Jordan before Elisha got the double portion of Elisha’s anointing. Why not Bethel, not Gilgal, not Jericho which is a place of conquers, but the place of rest, Jordan. Until you position yourself for destiny God cannot meet you at the point of blessing.

Hannah was praying every day but not until she visited Shiloh. Ruth became part of Christ’s history when she decided to move with Naomi, she was not an Israelite, but became a mother to Israelites. Beloved, location matters. Where are you?

Mouth Killers

Word For Thought: The mouth appears big, but it takes the tongue to shoot and kill

Many evil experiences we are facing now is as a result of mouth killers. They kill with no guns, no swords and no physical deadly weapons, but their mouths are doing the job. Some men are awake in the night only to incantate into the next day. Mouth killers sends words of evil to their victims. They are people they cannot forgive, people they  envy, people who are more prosperous than them. They will not sleep until they see evil.

Our anchor scripture, makes it clear that, the tongue is a killer. Some people died because of these mouth killers. Some people are in hell now because they did nothing concerning mouth killers. They spoke to foods, they spoke into gifts and they gave them out, only to softly and gently kill.

Mouth killers talk about problems not solutions. They gossip an speak lies about people. Many have committed suicide not because of what they did, but what people said about them. Mouth killers speak to the air, then carried out by evil powers to cause harm and death.

Knowingly and unknowingly, some parents just spoke, but it turned out to be a curse upon their children. Instead of love, these children will suffer and suffer. Beloved, not all deaths are natural, although all of us will die, but if you are not prayerful, mouth killers will kill you before your time.

Dry Bones Can Live

Word For Thought: Dry Bones responses to His name

In the Spirit of the Lord, Prophet Ezekiel found himself in a valley full of dry bones. These dry bones were not properly buried,hey were found in a valley. These were the bones of fallen soldiers, these bones were rejected, had no dignity, had no respect and was left out, at the mercy of the weather.

At some point in our life we experience some dry experiences. Bad relationships, troubled marriages, troubled children, etc. and in these times we become very confused. Ezekiel did not know. What we can do best is to wait on Him, because He knows. He knows your name, strengths and capabilities.

Ezekiel spoke the word of God and life came to the dry bones, until you speak, nobody will speak for you. Until you pray to divert the life of oppression, you cannot experience God’s divine  purpose  for your life. Speak the Word and miracles will follow.

The dry bones were kept in a valley, it is a place of limitation and only divine power or intervention can you out. Sickness can put us into a valley, joblessness can take away our flesh, joblessness will make you poor.  When the Word of the Lord dropped, they go flesh to make them strong and breathe to give life. Today may you experience such a divine favor.

Sons of Abraham

Word For Thought: Faith has no room for complacency.

Of any spiritual attack, you have been redeemed today. Any destiny snatchers are loosing grip and attention to you because you bear the marks of Christ on you. You are not feeble, but strong. Strong to avert any demonic decrees in Jesus name. So long as we are on earth here, we may face many atrocities, mind bordering confrontations, but the promise of God stands, we shall be delivered in Jesus name.

No matter the force in operation, we can overcome these challenges. I guess you were in that group that went into the furnace fire, you will no more be scared of fire anymore, but the secret is that, we go through it each day. Our ignorance has been causing us our orientation. Someone may be out of a job, that same has no child, that same is suffering from diabetes, hypertension and respiratory problems. That same person has to swallow medications and carry oxygen wherever he or she goes,if not he will die. What is more than this fire? Sons of Abraham, we must overcome by the faith in Christ Jesus.

I believe that, when it comes to to healing, we must not take it lightly. When it comes to being delivered from any form of affliction we must not take it lightly. Sometimes the devil is so wise that, when things happen that we need to apply faith in prayer, he will divert our minds to accept such oppressions as a test from God, he will even give you scriptures to back up. But today, you are taking back what has been stolen in Jesus name. If only you have been inspired by God's word, go ahead and take what belongs to you.

God's Blessings

Topic: God's Blessings

Word For Thought: When God blesses, no one curse.

     We serve a God who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places, meaning, we have received from God, our inheritance to be on top in this world. Jesus said "we are the light of this world", which means without a true believer that marriage, company, church, remains under bondage until a true believer emerges with light for illumination. 

      It takes only God to release His blessings to us. We cannot move Him at all, there is a principle in this, and the principle is "give and it shall come back to you". Until you will give, you cannot expect anything. Money is called currency, taken from the word current. Current free flow from one source to another source in other for a work to be done. If this principle of current flow fails, there will be no light in our darkness, the same way,  if currency fails to let go another source cannot come in, so we shall remain in darkness forever. When you give, you open the source for another one to come in, if not, frustration sets in,,,God forbid!

        Only the blessings from God can set you on top of blessings. The power behind such blessings is not a hard work of sorrows God. When God blesses a man, the world is glorified. It is not a bad one, remember it is wonderful.“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.  And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:

Generational Curse

Word For Thought: You can be a christian, yet you may have to deal with curses.

It is too unfortunate that we pay the sins of old. The atrocities of the fathers and the mothers affect their daughters and sons and this is a very serious problem. God blesses and blesses generations, in the same vain, He curses from fathers to their sons and the next generations that follows. It is very dangerous to walk under the curse of the fathers.Ham saw his father’s nakedness and he was cursed, the sons of Ham: Cush, Egypt, Put, and Canaan suffered.

How can you detect generational curses? You have to study trends, study your family line, God can reveal it to you, and your family elders may be involved in idol worshiping and practice of witchcraft. One will say but if I have given my life to Christ can I experience these curses? The answer is that, the cross has delivered us from the curse of sin not the curse of the fathers.

Some of us Christians are still suffering all because we have refused to deal with the curses of our great and great grandfathers, even if God reveals to us. They study the trends of their family background, they see nobody is married or staying married. When you see almost everyone in the family is marrying without been wedded, you need to pray hard concerning yours. Some of us don’t see promotion at all, money is a difficult thing in the family, one sickness running through, bareness running through, or almost that, every great person in the family dies young, and the spirit of suicide running through the generations.

Today, I want you to study some trends in your family and break it. This one can be broken through prayer and fasting, some of them due to the severity of it, you must join with a faithful brother or a sister to pray, but most of it; you need to be delivered in Jesus name, not once but consistent. God will show up for you.

Note this: 

God loves you and wants to set you free from all forms of curses. When you give your life faithfully to Him, He will set you free to be free from all forms of curses. If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or to renew your faith,  please pray this prayer 

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”'

1. Father, I praise and worship you, you have delivered me from all forms of curses.
2. Father, I pray, may you reveal your word unto me today in Jesus name.
3. Father, I pray, may every form of family secret be revealed unto me for my success in Jesus name.
4. Father, I pray, I root out any form of generational curse in Jesus name.
5. Father, I pray, may Your Church be a platform of supernatural deliverance ground in Jesus name.

Come and See

Topic: Come and See

Memory Verse: And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” John 1:46

Main Texts: Acts 8:4-8

Word For Thought: The Gospel can be seen, it illuminates the dark soul.

With miracles signs and wonders, all you need is to come and see. It is one thing to come and the other is to see. Some came they never saw, but others saw but never came. Philip told Nathanael to come and see the Messiah. Unless we make the needed step of faith, we can never enter into our life of divine destiny. The Philip Christians always have evangelism on their mind and they preach the gospel in season and out of season.

To come is one thing, but see is another realm. Unless you are determined, you will give up. Can anything good come out of you? The disciples got scattered abroad, due to persecution, but in the midst of it Philip took the step of faith and preached the word in Samaria and great wonders happened and high profiled men gave up their lives to Christ. Unless we come to Jesus, unless we come to the one who holds destiny, we can never see His glory.

We are living in a time that nobody wants to come to Jesus but, they want to see. This is magical. People who perform magic tricks are unknown people and we get marveled at them. Nobody wants to know Jesus but they want something good from Him. They are not born again but yet they want healing from Jesus, they want deliverance and financial breakthrough. We must come to stay in the Lord, work in the Lord, and we shall surely experience or see the hand of God at work in our life

God loves you and wants to set you free from all forms of oppression. Philip preached and many turned to the Lord, today is your turn to accept Jesus into your heart. If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or to renew your faith,  please pray this prayer

The Nicodemus Christians

Topic: The Nicodemus Christians

Main Texts: John 3:1-21

Word For Thought: The Gospel is not for keep, but must be shared.

Nicodemus was a ruler of the Jews. He was a Pharisee and a member of the Sanhedrin, rulers of the land. He was a high powered law maker in the land but he was a secret follower of Jesus Christ. He knew who He was; He saw the marvelous miracles of Jesus and knew the source of His power but yet, could not publicly declare him to his governors and his people. Jesus was still been pursued, blocked, tempted, tortured and crucified to death before Nicodemus showed up.

A Nicodemus friend may watch you to death. He will be secretly going to church, praying and living well but will not tell a friend who is living in sin to stop while he knows is evil. A Nicodemus church brother will not speak against the bad deeds of the other fellow brother, will support you secretly, but publicly against.

When I was in High School, during one of the school elections, one brother stood to be voted for, but to his surprised, he got just one vote. That is, he voted for himself. I asked myself, what happened to the friends who were around him? This gospel does not depend on Nicodemus people but people who are ready to share the word to others.  

If your Nicodemus friends shut their mouths, you shall die. They are knowledgeable people who need to speak on your behalf, they may be destiny helpers, intercessors, motivators, opinion leaders, but if they shut their mouths, your days on earth are also shut. May any Nicodemus spirit break loose in Jesus name!

God loves you and wants to set you free from all forms of oppression. Jesus answered and said to Nicodemus, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or to renew your faith,  please pray this prayer

5. Father, I pray, may Your Church never experience a Nicodemus atmosphere in Jesus name.
