In Revelation 12:7-9, war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

We live in a World full of lies and wickedness; almost everything is deceptive, far from the real picture. Every imagination and the thoughts of men are deadly and distrustful. But, the designer and the fabricator of all such acts, thoughts and imaginations is the serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan. After he lost the battle in the heavens, he was cast down on earth, in a form of retaliation, every child of God and potential children of the living God is doomed.

His ways and tactics are very deceptive. He presents himself in light only to catch your attention, but his intention is to steal, destroy and to kill you. Most of the things we hear, watch and say are too sad and unexpected. Sometimes you wonder what is happening, one tragedy here and there, people you trusted cannot be trusted anymore, money is worshiped, fashion and devilish people have been raised as icons for children and other young adults to worship, the system has been corrupted so deadly and devilish.

Don’t get me wrong here, that is why Jesus came. He came as a light that cannot be darkened by darkness. Jesus came to destroy the work of the devil so you and I will have peace and so have it in abundance. Our music is corrupted, pornography, prostitution, fashion, hatred, intoxication, drugs and gangs, are all included in the deadly agenda of the Angel of Light.

Boast Not

What is killing Christianity now is how we boast about the happenings of God’s hand in our life. Very few attribute all the Glory to God. Many fake and self acclaimed fake prosperity preachers preach themselves instead of God. That is why their congregation may be huge, but is full of dangerous and false Christians. They only brag and show off themselves instead of God. They have no connection between the suffering of their own people and themselves, and it is obvious to see the big Church with a big heart for God and a leader who gives all the Glory to God.

To Boast is to show pride and glorifying yourself. This takes the glory away from the Lord. If you want to glorify someone, then let it be God to encourage others. Be careful also when people are flattering or praises you, because that can lead to pride and a big ego. God deserves all the glory my dear, the only thing we deserve is hell. All the good that is in our life is from God. The rich man died, Nebuchadnezzar was turned into an animal, all because of boasting. Many preachers are dead men and animals because they boast a lot.

There is no need to boast of your accomplishments and what you can do. A great man is known, he needs no introduction as according to CherLisa Biles. Sometimes I forget myself and my accomplishments, not for anything but to solely depend on God every minute of my life. Although I fast often and regularly, I don’t and most times fast and pray hard before I preach, I am afraid I may give glory to myself and my fasting. I depend on God in every preaching engagement, I don’t want to have anything to do in God’s business, I am just a vessel, dust and clay, clothed with glory, humbly serving Him in and under any capacity.

The Christian Home

Topic: The Christian Home

Word For Thought: God created the Christian Home, it must be perfect in His eyes

What the family needs is Love. Anything that opposes the natural course of the family is destructive and dangerous. Whatever God created is perfect, including the family. Man and woman, perfect for marriage, animals for meat and plants for food, perfect, the sun, the moon and the stars, so perfect in His eyes. The visible and the invisible, are all perfect in His eyes, and so God rested.

God created the Christian home. It is the home that portrays Christ in the home. Ideally, wives are to submit to their own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands to love their wives and do not be bitter toward them. Children to obey their parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord. Parents should not provoke their children, lest they become discouraged. Pride is the cause of most disorganized family.

This is the model of a Christian home. Where it occurs that, the mother is not submitting, father is not loving and caring for the children and children not obeying, fire erupts and the family loses the love that binds. Many children are homeless because the natural cord that binds the family is broken. Children are to be submissive and obedient to their parents, if they don’t, the family breaks.

The Christian home is loving, caring and very supportive. The Christian home serves the Lord and the nature of Christ is the role model. I am praying for your family, as the year is getting to an end, may God grant you peace and love. May you be bonded with love and may the joy of the Lord keep you. Receive grace to be perfect in the eyes of the Lord.

No Limits

Topic: No Limits

Memory Verse:  "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus". Philippines 4:19

Word For Thought: Let us believe in this Limitless God.

We serve a limitless and a changeless God. He can use both great and small for His Glory. No matter what people of old had, yet their limitations were not able to stop God what He wanted to do. Moses felt limited by his ability to speak, Gideon felt limited by his 300 men, the disciples felt limited with the 5 loaves and 2 fishes, Jeremiah felt like he was just a child , Paul had a thorn in the flesh; admitted he was weak and trembling in I Cor. 2; yet God used them powerfully and tremendously.

I don’t know your limits right now, but as a child of God, there are no limits what the Lord God Almighty can use you to do. From our main verse, the supply of God’s provisions, there are no limits what God can supply. He supplies all because He is limitless. If He led you to school, He shall provide you with a job. If he guided you to stay holy till you got married, He will definitely see to it that you become fruitful.

There are no limits of operation of God, He is more than the world can contain.Pharaoh got a shock of his life when God made a way in the red sea for His people. The red sea did not limit God by sending His children to the promise land, the wall of Jericho did not even try.

My dear reader, for a great army, God raised dry bones. There are no limits of His blessings. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob all became great based on their obedience to the Lord and sacrifice. Today, may you never suffer lack in Jesus name.

Word For Thought: A Thankful heart is always a grateful heart.

I wish you and my entire readers in the US and Abroad a Happy Thanksgiving Day!! I have readers from United States, Ghana, Germany, United Kingdom, Kenya, Portugal, Canada, Nigeria, Ukraine, Russia, Australia and India, as well as others I was not able to list. I want to thank you all for your love and dedication to the things of God and my ministry. From July to this month, on google blog alone, I have about 14,000 visits and over 150 posts, I say to God be all the glory.

When someone does not appreciate you, I bet you, you will not give your best the next time. Some say, oh! If you give to man, it doesn’t matter if he or she says thank you or not, it’s ok. Although you give by expecting God’s blessings, but morally, you may think that this person does not appreciate what you are giving to him or her, so you will think twice the next time. 

Thanksgiving is good both to God and to man. God is present where He is praised, David was appreciated when he killed Goliath, because of that, he did more to serve his generation. All the sacrifices the people of old gave to God, were all expression of their thanks to God. Abraham became the father of many Nations when he agreed to offer Isaac to God. Jacob was a man who was thankful. David was a man after God’s heart, all because he was always grateful to God, both in good times and bad times. Solomon offered to God, and God asked him to list what he wants, he became the wisest king ever lived. Find someone to thank today.

City of Refuge

Topic: City of Refuge

Memory Verse:  In the fear of the Lord, there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge. Proverbs 14:26

Main Texts: Numbers 35:24-28

Word For Thought: The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.

The City of Refuge is a place of safety, defense and restoration. It was a city instructed by God,  appointed as a place of asylum for unintentional murderers. According to the law, anyone who committed a murder was to be put to death as in Exodus 21:14. But for unintentional deaths, God set aside the City of Refuge to which the murderer could flee for refuge as in Exodus 21:13. He would be safe from the avenger or the family member charged with avenging the victim’s death as also in Numbers 35:19.

Until the case could go to trial. The congregation would judge to find if the attacker acted unintentionally. If he did, he would return to the city of refuge and live there safely until the death of the high priest who was in office at the time of the trial, at which point he could return to his property and if the attacker left the city of refuge before the death of the high priest, however, the avenger would have the right to kill him as read in our main text today.

We all have a place of refuge. It is the most secret place, where our sins are forgiven and remembered no more. Our refuge place is the place of healing when sickness has taken over your body completely. In that case, you stress, panic and in fear, but when you encounter the healer in faith, then you are restored into good health. Today may you received God’s supernatural protection in Jesus name.

Life and Death

Topic: Life and Death

Memory Verse:  Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21

Main Texts: 2 Kings 4:18-27

Word For Thought: We are born again from death to life, so life is your state.

There is power in the mind that controls your life. Your mind is the moving power of your body, if your mind dies, you die if your mind is alive you are alive even if your whole body is immovable, your mind decides your state. In the hospital, people are pronounced brain dead if their brain stop working, yet the other parts of the body can still be working.

In as much as your brain or your mind determines your state, your words can also determine your state. Your words enable us to know whether you speak or not, nobody will know who you are until you speak. Your words can make people good or very uncomfortable, your words can heal or can destroy. Your words will tell, whether you speak wisdom or foolishness, words determine your acceptance, some people speak peace others, not. 

Your words determine whether you live or die.

In our main verse, the Bible admonishes us that, life and death are in the power of the tongue. It means that, the words you speak makes us know whether you are alive or not. It means some people are dead men walking, their life does not matter anymore, because their mouth speaks death. There are others who are very useful, because everywhere they go, they speak life.

No matter what you are going trough now, remember to speak well, life and prosperity over your soul, renew your mind to conform into the life of Christ, the Living one.

Anointed, But Weak

Topic: Anointed, But Weak

Memory Verse:  And today, though I am the anointed king, I am weak, and these sons of Zeruiah are too strong for me. May the LORD repay the evildoer according to his evil deeds!" 2 Samuel 3:39

Main Texts: Psalm 89:20-23

Word For Thought: The anointing is to empower you, it does not control your will power.

The anointing of God is the power that rests on a man for him to do the extraordinary or a more than the usual thing. The anointing empowers and Paul said; I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, Philippians 4:13. Christ means the anointed one, which will make it simple to say “I can do all things through the anointing that empowers me”.

The anointing empowers, strengthens your zeal or the will power. Man’s desire to pray, worship, sings, preach, is strengthened or empowered by the anointing of God. Looking at this means, you can be weak and still be anointed. You may be anointed to pray and preach but if you don’t preach you become weak.

The oil of a car does not deplete but it loses its viscosity to become weak so that oil is changed with a more viscous one. It is what we do that makes the anointed useful and to keep you stronger in the power of the anointing you always need to tap to the source of the anointing to be refreshed. You have to be replaced by a viscous power anointing if not you will lose the power to do although you carry the anointing.

David was anointed, very powerful. God said in our main text today with His Holy Oil he has anointed him, but he couldn’t stand Bathsheba’s seduction. Although he killed Goliath yet the sons of Zeruiah were too hard for him. Zeruiah had three sons, Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, all of whom were soldiers in David's army. These men were too difficult to be controlled. They carried their own agenda. May be you are anointed but has fallen short; today get back to the source for your oil to be changed. Pray, encourage yourself in God’s word and promises. Be Blessed!

Finger of God

Topic: Finger of God

Memory Verse:  But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. Luke 11:20

Main Texts:1 Kings 17:8-16

Word For Thought: When God raises His finger, it is because you ignored the signs

The finger of God is the judgment of God. When God raises His finger, it means your adversaries have refused to adhere to His commands or needs. God raises His finger in battles; nothing can stand or stop the finger of God. When God raised His finger at Pharaoh, He had already told him to let His people go.

Aaron stretched out his rod, and strikes the dust of the land, so that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt, but the magicians so worked with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not. So there were lice on man and beast.  Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.”  In other words, this is a judgment from God that no other power can stand. But Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, just as the Lord had said.

Sometimes we want God to judge our enemies in a particular way, we may want them to die, we may pronounce judgments on those who are persecuting us, but if we are really for the Lord, I think our battles in this life are also for the Lord; God told King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. “For the battle is not yours, but God's” 2 Chronicles 20:15.

My dear, when we allow God to pronounce the judgment instead, our enemies will smell pepper. I always allow Him to fight my battles, and I can tell you; I am even more generous. When God deals with my enemies, I become very sad for them and I pity them. When the finger of God rose upon Pharaoh, he allowed the people to go. Today may all your adversaries, experience the finger of God in Jesus precious name.

Just a Little Oil

Topic: Just A Little Oil

Memory Verse:  Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”John 6:7

Main Texts:1 Kings 17:8-16

Word For Thought: The secret of your prosperity is not far from you.

What could make this widow rich was just in her house, yet she was expecting to die. What could save five thousand people was right in their midst, yet, Philip did not believe in the little boy’s lunch. Just a little oil, made a widow rich, what about you today? If this woman had eaten her seed, she would have ended her entire family, please regard every seed, all is important to the glory of God.

Our God does not discriminate, He uses all and all things He has created for His glory. Sometimes we assume the big things for big things, we need a big number of people for a good church, we need a lot of money for a good business, we need a big car before we can praise God. We look for big big big things, but if we are depending on God, He operates with no measure, He can use both great and small, tall and short, small and big everybody is useful in the kingdom.

In Mark 12:42, only the widow’s mite pleased God, the scribes and Pharisees came with all types or forms currencies, millions and millions but only the widow’s mite pleased God. Elisha after proclaiming the draught went to the widow of Zarephath. 

The only thing she had was a little oil. When she obeyed the prophet, she became a millionaire. Man looks at the outside, but God looks on the inside. Get into God’s will, and you will never regret. He exalts the humble or the lowly, He uses the little and the rejected, hopeless and forsaken things for His Glory.

The oil was hopeless, but the word from God placed value on it. Two fishes and five loaves of bread was nothing in the sight of five thousand men, but the people got fed and there was a surplus. Today, may you receive the grace to regard small beginnings as part of the history, God can move supernaturally.

Topic: Don't Trade Your Love

Word For Thought: Love is God, and God is Love

True Love is priceless, you cannot take it to wall street, because the greatest gift one can give or receive is love. No amount of money can buy true love. True love doesn’t care if someone has a deformity, rejection, beauty, poverty or low profile, yet, they will stick together. These days, love is money and money is love, so where you see money, you will see many people. This is ignorance, because many potential marriages, families, businesses, churches, industries, etc. went off the drain all because, someone traded his or her true love.

To trade your love is to exchange your love for another. It could be money, pleasure, hatred, properties, fame, etc. My dear, money doesn’t stay at one place, today you have, tomorrow you don’t. This is because, money is a currency designed to flow from one person to another, so if you love money, money doesn’t love you. The value of money is to release it, the more you do, greatest your value.

From our text today, God said we were precious in His sight, the Bible says for God so loved the world, for God is love, there is no impurity in Him, His love is genuine, it is not fake at all. We would have been dead, yet alive all because of His love. After Adam sinned, He could have traded His love, yet He sent Jesus His only Son to die for us.

If someone loves you, please love someone. It is evil to exchange it. If you cannot reject God, do the same for Love. This man or woman loves you, that is the greatest gift of life. Don’t allow your fame, money pleasure, personality, position, take this love away from you. When you trade a true love, you trade out destiny.

God loves you and wants to set you free. Salvation is the gateway for divine blessings. If you are not born again, you are not free. If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or you want to renew your faith,  please pray this prayer 

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”'

Child of the Kingdom

Topic: Child of the Kingdom

Memory Verse:  “…..For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21b

Word For Thought: We have been positioned in the Kingdom to operate in Power

For indeed our Lord Jesus brought the Kingdom of God to man. In Luke 4:43 He said "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose”. He began to preach in Mathew 4:7 and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Jesus spoke about the Kingdom of God more than anything. He simply brought the Kingdom of love, joy, lorry, promotion, salvation, healing and restoration to man. The shame that sin brought on us, was taken away by the cross, and translated into the children of the Kingdom.

By such a divine mandate and spiritual birth through the Blood of Jesus, we became children of God. Children not of this world, but straight from heaven, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name;  who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God”. John 1:12-13.

Where your father lives, that is where you will live as a child. Heaven is the abode of God, and so we live there now. We are to live as children of the kingdom; we must operate on a heaven–on-earth frequency. The child of the Kingdom never lack, never struggle, every power that moved Jesus to operate on heaven on earth is at our disposal to use. Jesus said greater works than these that we the children of the kingdom shall do.

Gone are the days of power, these days too much self-knowledge is killing the church, miracles are dying, no more authentic prophecies;  instead of us yielding to the voice of God behind His Word as children of the Kingdom, we are looking for what will please men. May God have mercy, we need Him now!
