Topic: Touch Not My Anointed

Memory Verse: He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakeSaying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.” Psalm 105:14-15

Main Scriptures: Psalm 23:5, Luke 4:18, Hebrews 1:9

Word for Thought: You are anointed, you are untouchable.

Over the years, I thought our anchor scripture was meant for only pastors and apostles of the church, but the great insight of God’s Word has made me believe that every child of God is anointed. To be anointed is to be chosen and be consecrated to the things or the service of God. The anointing is the presence of God in us.

1 John 2:27 (NKJV) -  But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will  abide in Him.

This scripture tells us that, the anointing we have received, abides in us, that means every true believer of God has His presence in them. With your mouth you confessed, with your heart you believed in to righteousness, that Jesus is Lord. That very moment, His presence came upon you. Shame was changed to shine, troubles to  testimonies, frustrated life to a fruitful life. This was the hand of God. Because of this, God will not permit anyone or anything to change what He has done. The Blood of His Son is precious to the extend that, He will not permit anything to waste it.

Since you are a carrier of His presence, you are untouchable. Diseases and troubles, frustrations and disappointments have been warned clearly that, they should not touch you. They sought to  kill Jesus, but He overcame, because he Spirit of the Lord was upon him. The same way anything negatively pursuing your life is not allowed to survive in Jesus name. Continue to abide in Him and He in you, in that case, you shall be pruned alright but you shall come out as light.

Prayers ……………………..

3.       Pray this, “Lord, may my head lack no oil in Jesus name”
4.       Pray this, “Lord, anoint me beyond measure in Jesus name”
