Topic: Your case is not over

Memory Verse: For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. Psalm 23:18

Main Text: Psalm 9:18, Mark 4:35-41

Word for Thought: In the midst of the storm, Jesus was sleeping....

I am happy to tell you today that your case is not over so don't give up. That miraculous expected is on the way says the Word of God "surely there is an end, and your expectation shall not be cut off". When the devil presented a case against Job in the heaven's court, God Himself was Job's lawyer. Today I don't know the case against you and that man or that woman, against any sicknesses on your body such as cancer, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, stroke, just to name it. I don't know the cases against you or your family in the spiritual realm, may be witches and wizards wants to take hold of your business and career, my dear reader, your case is not yet over, your lawyer is God Himself and this day He is saying "be still and know I am the Lord".

Another version of our scripture today says "Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off". Expectation is not present but it is in the future. It is what your heart is seeking. What you expects becomes your burden and out of necessity, desperation sets in. If your faith is not guided by God just as Job's heart was untouched, you will speak against God. There was a great storm, in fact in the boat were people who were fishermen, they have been on the sea all their lives, they have met numerous storms, but this one was a furious squall, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped, but Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples out of desperation woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” If it were you what will you say? What are you saying over this present affliction?

Instead of them saying Master, we know you helped us catch more fishes so have control over the sea so can you please calm the storm for us. Attached to every terror and affliction over our body is fear. If we can overcome our fear, we can do a lot, then we can wait patiently on God. The fear of life displaced their faith and they virtually said Jesus does't care for them. Today guard your heart, for your God will fight for you.

Prayer .........
  1. Pray and worship God for another experience of His Word.
  2. Pray to ask God to forgive you over any comment you made out of satanic terror.
  3. Pray and commit every storm in your life before the Lord.
  4. Pray this "Father, may any satanic calculation over my destiny be miscalculated in Jesus name"
  5. Pray this "Father, may my expectation come forth speedily in Jesus name"
